Only because you weren't in range.

Are your feewings hurt or something? Funny how you lurk around the game thread waiting for the first questioning of a call/play, etc. so can call them "whiners". Then you spend the next 3 hours crying about the refs. Now go spend the rest of the day singing kumbaya and wishing for world peace.

Bullschit. You're getting called out for trying to be the school Hall Monitor and you're embarrassed. You jump on anyone who questions why we have such a difficult time converting 3rd and shorts. You know...FOOTBALL talk. You aren't interested in the game. You're some frustrated grade school tattletale who sits by his computer and waits for the 1st questioned play so you can play Hall Monitor and cry "NO DOING THAT!!! I CALLED IT!!!" You can take off your cheerleader skirt, the game is over. Your ridiculous "You're either with us or you're against us" schtick is a pathetic cry for attention. Contrary to what you believe, it IS possible to question obvious plays and STILL be a fan. No really, it is. Now go back to whining about the refs...it's easy...no...it's lazy.

And it will continue.  Looked so good they kept passing on third and short with a back like Lacy.  Ringing endorsement.

You got some homer sauce on your shirt.

Would you like me to explain why players like EDS are a necessary evil?  We know the cap game, we know the injury circumstances, doesn't make him any more than a default scrub who can't be relied upon to push the pile when it comes down to a game of inches.  He plays in a unit, a unit of young players that will get better while he stays the same.

I'll put money down he's a backup again in two years tops.  That's what he is a serviceable backup.

Again, weak sauce.

Why did they abandon the run game on 3rd and short on a regular basis?  Because it might look like Cincy all over again?  See if you can work your way through that very simple fact.

When have they not abandoned the run game?

I watch the same games as you.  What I saw today was a football player that did a good job against two very good DT's.  Lacy got most of his yards running right up the middle of the field.  Rodgers had time to throw and was sacked once.

Rodgers and the coaching staff have went out of their way to praise him.  McGinn has as well.  EDS grades out well on some of the things I've read out of PFF.

Yet you keep chiming in with how ****ty of a player he is.  You even go so far as to blame EDS for MM throwing the ball on 3rd and short when MM has been doing that for years now.

I'm comprehending just fine... I think your disdain for the guy, for reasons unknown, is remarkable.

THIS!!

God.  Damn.  Idiots.

antiworst, maybe wait till noon or so before hitting the bottle.  You are not a good game day poster.

EDS had a fine game today.  Get over it.

Holy mother of stupidity in this thread.  It's quite beautiful.

And let me put out my point of view.  The run game is looking great up to the red zone and hopefully the the oline will mature to deliver more punch.  Yet, when you get into straight up short yardage run plays the Packers are pulling their punches and going with quick passes.  Not a bad option but once again makes the offense predictable in that sense.  We've seen it two weeks in a row were Dlinemen aren't trying to get to Rodgers, they are just swatting the ball down.

Why is it that Pro Bowler Big Ern isn't getting the call to push the pile, which is what a Center is supposed to do, when you have short yardage situations?  Is it because they can't disguise it or maybe it could be something else.  Whatever could it be?
