Whether it’s BK or someone else why do people get so worked up about what’s said?   It’s a fucking chat room.  Speak your peace and say what’s on your mind.  It’s not personal unless you want to make it something it isn’t.

I seem to recall someone saying x4 isn’t for pussies.   Could have fooled me with how some of you are reacting.

Where’s Hank when you need him.

We need to cut Kiel some slack. The poor guy was spending Thanksgiving alone, with just a box of Stovetop stuffing and some Costco wine to wash it down.

I’ve reevaluated my behavior here and I’ve simply decided to block everyone I hate. In my next post, if you are blocked all you will see is a dot.

My biggest positive this week and last, Jordan Love is showing clear progress.  No, he’s not Favre/Rodgers in their primes, but he’s showing enough that we don’t draft another QB next year with a 1st or 2nd round pick.

2nd biggest:  Joe Barry’s D was legitimately good yesterday.  I am on the “let’s try someone other than Barry” bandwagon, but hey he had those guys playing much harder yesterday than he usually does.  I’m skeptical it can remain that way, but Barry gets an A- for his defense yesterday.

Love's stats are virtually identical to Rodgers in his first 11 starts in 2008.

EDIT: I double checked everything for accuracy using Pro Football reference

Rodgers first 11 starts
17 Passing TD's on 2,599 yards with 9 INT's
4 Rushing TD's

Love's first 11 starts
19 Passing TD's on 2,599 yards with 10 INT's
2 Rushing TD's

As for the defense....Yes we like the sacks and turnovers as they are game changers....But Bury's defense is still dogshit.

25 first downs, 78 total plays 464 Yards almost 50% 3rd down efficiency, 140 rushing yards. Defense has to be exhausted this morning. 78 fucking plays....are you kidding me?? Bend but don't break indeed.

The sacks and the turnovers are the difference folks. Not impressed with Bury's defense at all....and yeah I know the Lions have a good offense but the Packer D didn't do anything special with the exception of the sacks & turnovers (also stops on 4th down... 1/5)

The biggest turning point was when that idiot Campbell faked the punt on 4th down and got his shit stuffed right back down his throat. Packers made him pay for that by scoring a TD....and there's your difference in the game.

Love and Rodgers have the same stats and W/L record through 11 games. Let's hope that's where it ends because the 2008 Packers lost their next 4 games before winning the finale and finishing 6-10.

This team is having more success because the pass protection has been better as of late. I saw an interview with MLF and the first thing he said was the OL is better and they can run intermediate and deep routes that they couldn't before. They've even overcome injuries. Who else has their entire starting secondary out with injuries?

The T-Day game could be a turning point. I was hoping they wouldn't get embarrassed on the big stage but all of a sudden the national media thinks Love is great and the Packers are dangerous.

There's nothing to reevaluate. The site needs the uniqueness that everyone brings. If we all agreed with each other it would getting very boring very fast.

If we somehow beat the Chiefs, and they are ripe, look at this.

  • Week 14: at New York Giants (3-8)
  • Week 15: vs. Tampa Bay (4-6)
  • Week 16: at Carolina (1-9)
  • Week 17: at Minnesota (6-5)
  • Week 18: vs. Chicago (3-8)

Yep. I posted a few weeks ago we wouldn't see the Sunday Night Games, either the Chiefs or Vikings.   Now I think both will stay the course.

League announced earlier this week that KAN @ GBP wasn't being flexed.

Yesterday's win likely keeps them in the MNF spot vs NYG, week after KC.

+Love’s command of the game has taken a big step.

-His long ball woes continue. That deep ball on the first drive to a wide open Watson was another easy touchdown that he threw way short of target. It was a terrible pass and Watson made a hell of a play to adjust to it.

It’s always on throws to Watson.  Their timing is off - Watson is super fast, I think Love needs to throw it sooner before he’s out of range.  They’ll figure it out.  Watson needs to be available more consistently.

The frustrating thing is we see the good things that happen when talented guys play aggressively…and then we see Barry calling lax coverage on 3rd and 9.

Our thinking Preston can play corner.  Saw him in coverage at least the times.  WTf?

Personally, I get irritated when on third and long, he calls for soft zones and often just rushes three.  And then still gives up the first down.  Mix it up.  Blitz once in awhile so the receivers don’t have time to run their routes forcing the qb to get the ball out quicker and play man press.  Don’t call such pussy defenses.  Get your defense off the field.

Except none of us are playing.  I agree that mentality is unacceptable to the people actually playing the game or coaching it.  But to a fan?  Who gives a shit what a fan thinks really?

You better not be looking past this week’s opponent, Parkz.

Interestingly to me, our secondary seems to be playing better with the backups.

I can't believe how many bad teams the Packers played this year. But then I look around and don't see many good teams at all. KC comes in as the reigning champs with a generational QB and they have the worst rated offense in the 2nd half of games in the NFL. After Mahomes and Kelce the only player that looks like a threat is Pacheco.
