Is Mike Sherman still available? Many fans thought he would quickly land another HC gig after leaving Green Bay. Same mentality when fans thing every team will swoop up the Packers final roster cuts and practice squad guys. Every coach/front office/player with a connection to Green Bay is not a hot commodity around the league.

if MM lands another job my guess it will be as an OC or QB coach. Can't see another team taking a chance on him based on his recent performance; starting with the NFC Championship game fiasco at Seattle.

Regarding the Seattle NFCCG. For 56 minutes Mike stitched together a fucking masterpiece. He took a playoff dog to Seattle and for 56 minutes he kicked their ass. A confluence of shitty decisions by players sunk that game. Mike kept some position coaches longer than he should have and yes that’s on him that that’s what sunk that game. Not Mike coaching in that game directly.

If someone wants to tell me about Mikes crappy coaching job in Atlanta in the NFCCG 2 years later I’m all in. Mike was fully dead man walking in GB after that game. And he brought a trash game plan to that game.

GB averaged a boneheaded play each of the final 5 minutes by players in that game. From Hawk, to Burnett, to Dix, to Bostick. Clay was fucking gassed by the end of that game.

If Bostick does his job Jordy catches the onside kick and GB beats NE two weeks later.

whatever. It is what it is and GB has a home playoff game next week. Opportunities for Title 14 are always welcomed.

Not really a surprise here. Jerruh wants a HC with such low self-respect he will not question the fact this doddering old geezer will meddle and stick his fingers into every aspect of running/coaching the team. Barruh Switzer...Jason Garrett...now now, McVince...

And Cignetti as his QB coach.

And, oh, what's Darren Perry doing...

I've tried selling the same take over the years but you can't convince some fans.  I remember watching that game and for the length of it almost being in disbelief at what they were doing.  On the other hand, I also remember thinking, after the fake field goal, that SEA had been coming back late in games and pulling magic out of their asses that whole season. From that point on it was watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Biggest mystery is who he'll bring in as DC.  Too bad Zimmy won yesterday.

MM's RB coach will either be a former WR, TE, or LB and will have zero RB experience.

Holy shit,

Welp, I guess after Jerruh watched MM kick his ass in the playoffs time and again maybe he felt if you can't beat them, join them.

it will be fascinating to watch this soap opera unveil itself.

Jerry watched MM never say a negative thing about his boss TT even as MM knew TT was getting more and more incompetent by the day.

Jerry got the "Yes Sir, whatever you say Sir" coach he was looking for.
