NFC-N 4-peat

Rodgers, was not to be denied  (curious what the coach thinks of the sneak?)

Yes, OL

Cobb

Honorable mention to Jeremy Wilcox of Wausau, whose beard Aaron Rodgers tugged for good luck. He holds coach’s phone if headphones don’t work

--

ST

1 - Another blocked FG... that would cost them in the playoffs

2 - free-kick

3 - Morgan, right in the breadbasket

+ Caldwell's idiotic challenge
- The referees couldn't tack on a helmet-to-helmet pentaly when they watched the replay

+ Matt Flynn didn't turn the ball over
- Is there anybody who didn't see the sace coming from a mile away?

- Going for it on 4th and goal
+ That probably set up the punt return TD

- Ndamokung Suh is a dirty player.  He deserves a suspension but probably won't get one.

- There aren't enough - signs to detail the level of suck that is Brad Jones.  It's tough to be worse than AJ Hawk, and yet every week, Jones proves that it is in fact possible.  Physics tells us there's no such thing as a total vacuum, but Brad Jones sucks more than a total vacuumwould.

- The referees even suggesting the non-fumble that led to the replay challenge was a turnover before changing their decision.  Logic dictates that if your ass is on the field when a defender touches you, that's down by contact.  Even an idiot like me sitting at home can figure that out.

+ I wasn't in the chat room when Rodgers tweaked his calf.  I can only imagine the pants-wetting that ensued.

Gray area my foot.

There's a sliver of plausible deniability that his first step back was unintentional, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He clearly knew what was going on when the second foot went on the leg, and then he deliberately put all the weight of his body on that foot.

This POS needs to be suspended, and I'd hope offensive linemen that face him from here on out make it their personal mission to hurt him.

Positives

- NFC NORTH CHAMPS AGAIN

- 8-0 at home

- MVP Rodgers gutting it out in a big game and playing well

- OL did much better vs Lions DL this time around. Unit is playing very well

- Lacy/Starks - Was this best performance by RB vs Lions D this season?

- Fumble recovery...huge momentum shift

- Cobb. Pay that man

- Get that much needed Bye week!

- Hyde Punt return for TD

- Getting the Safety

Negatives

- Red zone playcalling on that first series. Give it to Lacy early and often at the 1 there

- Rodgers re-aggravating calf strain. Positive he was able to return, but he likely is back to square one with that injury

- Another blocked FG

- ST still with too many gaffes

- Brad Jones

- Brad Jones

- Brad Jones...seriously, I hate seeing him on the field

- Lacy fumble

As Aikman said in the game, there is no way you don't realize your stepping on a player.

He felt the leg under his right foot, and he went back with the left leg on pure impulse. It's what he does, he probably can't help himself.

We gotta throw up some beach balls for you occasionally.

Zero negatives

Time for my 2014 NFC North clinching single malt scotch.

I have McCallan's Directors Edition. It's a blend of the best Single malts

+Rodgers MVP

 +Lacy

 the o line

 the D line

- MCarthy is such a good coach, but it helps that he has Rodgers…please next time, kick the first field goal, don't kick the second field goal and don't drop Flynn back  on 3rd and 4….you don't know Rodgers is coming back, play field position

-Cobb not under contract with the season ending

-this could be said every week from the inception of the league---but what a terrible officiating crew

-Suh's behavior should be dealt with  thru significant fines to the Lions coaching staff, once is on the player, the second week is on the coaches
