it is time for capers to go, it is obvious that 2 games should not yield 700+ yards of offense, he can't adjust and put up any kind of defense against the good teams in the NFL, it was painful to watch.

Ok I will post here, not sure if it is  whining.  Why keep Ross on the team. Ok screwing up one Kick off Return,  but he keep doing it.

He is only on the team to return kicks, if he can not recognize when not to bring the ball out of the end zone what is  contribution to the team.

Here is my whine, send the guy packing with all his 49er gear in tow.

This was an excellent football game-----on the road---- against the best team in the league.

We had a chance to win at the end.

What you need is an elongated ethnic appendage up your posterior.

It was a good game missing two major components on defense, which allowed for the gashing down the middle.  This defense is better but you need the full compliment of Hayward and Burnett.

Bad turnovers, stupid mistakes and still only lost by 6 in San Fran.  

BTW, EDS is ****ing horrible and Ross needs to be on the street tomorrow.

BTW, Hyde showed the limitations that we knew about him.  Anything over his head is trouble.  Hyde isn't Hayward.

This team will compete for the Superbowl.  They will work out the wrinkles, rookie mistakes and get the middle of the backfield healthy and beat teams like San Fran in the playoffs.  All of this even with Sack of Crap playing Center.

As much as it sucks to lose a game we led with about 7 minutes left in the game, we hung in there with maybe the best team in the NFC, in their place, and with the refs blowing one call after another (replay of third down, blowing both a late hit and a hold on the same offensive play). Our safety play has to improve big time, but I thought the passing game looked really good, and Lacy when he got some room to run in the open looked really dynamic. The O line will tighten up, and we'll be just fine.

Everybody is gushing about Kaepernick. Let's be honest here. He's a good quarterback, but Boldin and Davis were so wide open, any NFL quarterback could have completed those passes. He had all day to throw. 

Tweak some things, get improved safety play, and find somebody to take Ross' roster spot as returner, and we'll be in the thick of it. 

Do ya think Crabtree would have been open.......

The only member of the team that I am ticked off with now is Jeremy Ross. The guy sucks ass. Outside of that, I'm fine with the coaching, and those backup DBs did just about what you'd expect out of them.

Hard to expect a win when you are on the road vs a great team and lose the turnover battle AND give up 30+ points

want to see how this D is with Hayward and Burnett back. They missed both of them big time today. Safeties were simply awful. Still think that Capers should be on the hot seat this season. His D's continue to come up flat vs good teams. I don't get how you can allow Boldin to put up 200+ yards on your team

Sitton chose some great moments to play stupid as well.

I thought it was a good game too.  We have some flaws to fix, however.

Ross's decision-making on returns is a disappointment. McCarthy again failed to impress with his in-game awareness. If we meet San Fran again in the playoffs, it will be another uphill battle.

There's a talent gap on the O-line and defense and there's no leeway to make dumb mental mistakes. The buck stops with TT on the talent side.

Ross should be selling Roombas (or turning tricks) tomorrow and EDS should put a down payment on a Shoney's franchise.

Otherwise, tough game but how does a damn three-man rush get home on the final play and when close why not just launch it?

This was the difference this week.  Safety play and slot play was not to par.  Hyde is OK, but Heyward is better.  McMillian and Jennings had better learn from today.  They stunk.  The reality is Williams failed on the most critical play of the game, but it was critical because safety play stunk up that point.

I now realize that there should have been, but there wasn't, competetion at C like there was at K.  OL is too important to not have competition at every position to push the players.  Sitton and Lang need some competition as well as EDS.

Ross was irritating, but wasn't the reason they lost.

So many things against them...shouldn't have even been this close, but they nutted up.

We basically gave them 7 on Lacy fumble, refs gave them 4.

Whiners are not as good as they were last year...our secondary was awful because of injuries...Bolden won't have those kind of days vs Seattle, Houston, etc. If Burnett is in there, don't think Boldin has the day he has.

Lets not forget that the 49ers were missing Crabtree and Manningham. Jeez all they had to do was cover Boldin. Pathetic performance.

The only reason Ross beat out guys like Walker was because of his potential in the return game.  He's a ****ing bonehead in the return game.  Bye bye.

Seriously?  Shut the front door!  It was a difference of 8-10 yards in starting position.  Sorry, but there were much more important things.

Your love affair with EDS is starting to get creepy Hankya.  The offensive lineman that stood out to me was Sitton and his what, three holding penalties because he couldn't block his man?

Hyde showed a nice ability to hold onto punts in training camp and preseason. He may not break big ones, but he'll hold onto the ball. They can get just about anyone to return kickoffs who knows when to kneel down.

It's okay to admit you're wrong.  At least Sitton was on Justin Smith instead of watching him breeze on by.
