If you want to take a look back at the Clay Matthews trade, fine, that is a legit idea for this forum, start a thread called "Looking back on the trade up for CM 7 months later".

You don't bump up a thread from way back then and simply quote one poster who didn't like the trade. Not giving credit to the poster in hopes that others will search through to see who it was so you don't look quite so obvious in your attempt to feel superior through someone else's mistake.

You added nothing to the thread, just quoted me, trying to make me look bad.

What if CM would have been a bust and Billy B had gotten 3 starters out of the trade?

Would you have gone back and bumped that thread the same way?

BTW...I am also on record as not liking the Charles Woodson signing at the time due to his injury history...if anybody wants stroke their own ego by searching back for those threads.

Proper behavior for a forum mod is to pull up old posts making fun of people for stating valid opinions which turned out to be wrong after the fact?

You searched an old thread trying to find something to make me look bad in retrospect, took a chicken****, snarky swipe at me in particular without offering anything of your own and I didn't like it, so I stood up for myself and told you so.

I don't see what the big deal is. If you're going to go out on a limb and let everyone know what your opinion is on some decision, why are you surprised if someone reminds you of it after the fact? Put on your big boy pants and deal with it. It's not the worst thing that can happen to you.

I didn't see Clay becoming this guy when he was drafted. I thought it was a reach.

I prefer to be wrong in these situations

CMIII can play and plays every down hard! What a refreshing change for a rookie or an experienced player.

People get called out when they continue to cling to a take that has been refuted or has strong evidence to the contrary. This was a half assed cheap shot. I also was against signing Woodson and wrong on many other occasions, I own it. You pull this crap on me and I'd react the same way as Free Safety did.

Thought we overpaid at the time.....not so much any more.

Was happy when we drafted brohmicon in r2....look what that has done for me.

Hated Bu$tin choice...which trumps the only two times I have been wrong.

After seeing Matthews in the Rose Bowl this year, I thought he was a really good safe pick. He might be even better than I thought. He'll be a very good player for many years to come.
