Pittsburgh & Denver are praying he's a bust.

Problem is, Lacy won't need to carry the ball much more than 10-15 times a game.

Aaron Rodgers passing attack alone should extend Lacy's career

He does need to be able to block however, and it sounds like he's not very good at it.

He ran behind a line that was as good as a lot of lines in the NFL. I put him on a 3.5 ypc average which would be welcome in green bay.

Until he gets hurt AGAIN. Guy couldn't even make it through his pro day......

Lacy can block just fine, in fact some have said it's a strength for him. He's a 3-down RB unlike Adrian Peterson.

Also I don't think a Vikings fan should talk about injury prone RBs. Peterson has always been injury prone.
Good thing scouting reports are never incorrect.

Like this one on Tom Brady:

Weaknesses:
- Looks a little frail and lacks great physical stature and strength
- Lacks a really strong arm
- Can't drive the ball down the field and does not throw a really tight spiral
- System-type player who can get exposed if he must ad-lib and do things on his own

Jaymo is the type of person who goes on bleacherreport everyday and absorbs everything he reads like sponge and then comes on here and rings it out and expects us to be taken aback by it all.

Breakout offensive players to watch out for

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers: I know I said I was avoiding rookies, by and large, but this fit just looks too good to be true. For Lacy to fall to the Packers, and given their obvious need at his position, and their equally-as-obvious dominance in the passing game, I just can't resist.

Yes, they drafted another rookie back in the talented Jonathan Franklin, but Lacy has a strong pedigree and I expect the concerns about any bumps and bruises, his Alabama workload and issues with his 40 time to be erased by what he does on the field.

He doesn't have to be a savior or a game breaker, just be effective and consistent and he will put up numbers. Coach Mike McCarthy will sprinkle him in well, he should see plenty of the ball down by the goal-line and the locker room already has plenty of leaders.

He just has to be a hard-working rookie, and the fact he fell as far as he did will only stoke his motivational fire. I like the potential of this fit, a lot, and unlike at positions like receiver, running back remains an area where rookies can and do contribute right away as long as they get a grasp on the protections. Nick Saban prepares his kids for what it takes to play at the next level, so I don't anticipate that being a problem here.

Kinda like a RB that fumbles a lot. Once a fumbler always a fumbler. :cough28cough:

"....Lacy is also a gifted receiver out of the backfield and has proven both alert and physical in pass protection, making it likely he'll be able to step in and contribute immediately as a rookie."

How can I possibly argue with that kind of earth shattering analysis! That's almost as strong as your Christian Ponder "if he plays well then the offense will do good" post from another thread. Keep 'em coming ace! Why don't you just leave the football talk to the adults...sprout a couple chest hairs, graduate from high school, actually watch some football, and then come back give us your opinion.

Do you think the packlers have ever made a bad/questionable draft pick? I mean before the guy has ever suited up for the packlers? Have they? I bet that thought has NEVER went through your head.

HE WAS DRAFTED BY THE PACKLERS!!! EVERY GOOD ANALYSIS OF HIM MUST BE SPOT ON AND ANY SCOUT/NFL GM THAT HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT HIM IS AN IDIOT AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT!!!

Comical.

Now somebody hurry up and alter this post so your widdle feewings don't get huwt.
