Dillon had a whale of a game tonight. And even with the huge night- he ran into his own blockers a half dozen times. Specifically he seemed to bang into Jenkins at least 3 times, getting his forward progress stymied in the process.

Even Henry took a couple years to figure things out. Dillon is no where near as good as he will be if he can stay away from injury and build on this- and that should scare the shit out of every DC in the NFL.

Myocarditis? All those wonderful folks who yip, "It's just a bad flu" should talk to a young guy I know who has myocarditis after his doc suspected an early case of covid. Nothing to fool with, and just one of the potential long-term effects of covid.

I feel for that guy, whom you know, with the myocarditis. I just had a friend, from my High School days, die from Covid-19, just before Christmas. It destroyed his lungs, so even a ventilator would not work, for him. The next time I hear a denier say it only kills 1% of the people who get infected or that it's just like the flu, I may show them that they don't have to contract the virus, for me to punch their lights out.

Yes! I saw Dillon run into Jenkins, at least 3 times, and I also saw Jenkins being blocked into Dillon, at least two times. Dillon is for real!

My daughter has a 30 year old marathon runner friend who after six months still can’t breathe right. We know another woman who needs a lung transplant. It’s a vicious erratic villain

Yep, it took Henry 21 games to have his first 100 yard game. Had some really poor games as far as YPC those first 20 games.

This was his first legit playing time and he was rough but really impressive. Small sample size so far but 5.3 YPC after 45 carries is a damn nice start! It's going to be really interesting to see how they use all three backs once Williams returns.

I don't think they give him much PT over a healthy Williams.   People will be pissed, but I think it's the right move.    In the playoffs Jones will be a workhorse and the limited snaps should go to the guy who we have 100% trust in to pick up a block or run the right route.

If Williams wasn't productive at all, I would say go with the potential, but he is.   He isn't Aaron Jones, but he gets the yards in front of him and is 100% trustworthy.

They should use Dillon on spot duty throughout the game and heavily in the 4th quarter of games in which they lead and are trying to run clock.

I like Dillon in 11 & 21 sets with the 2nd RB or WR motioning out of the backfield. Or in 22 with the 2nd TE as the lead and the 2nd RB motioning out wide. Jones is physical, but Dillon looked disrespectful at times. So many options there with a load like AJ.

If we see more of AJ like last night they could very likely franchise Jones and see how this all shakes out a year later.

Did anyone else get serious Ryan Grant vibes from him? Size wise Derek Henry is an obvious comparison, but he runs nothing like Henry. DH runs high with a big powerful stride and has great vision and instincts. That’s how Lacy ran also and how we see guys like Najee Harris and Mark Ingram run...that must be the Bama way (row tyde). Dillon seems to run lower and showed more of a slashing one cut and go style similar to Grant. He looked shockingly light on his feet for such a heavy guy. Perfect back for a zone running scheme. I expected a bigger, more powerful stride and he seems to run pretty compact.

Demeanor wise as well.

I honestly never saw the comparison to DH.  I think people were looking at just his numbers.  DH runs so high he looks like Usain Bolt in lane 4 of a Pan-Asian games qualifying heat.  Ingram is an interesting comp.  Anyone remember how Ironhead Heyward looked running?

All that said, I agree with the chongo on pumping the brakes.  Kind of feel the same about last night's win, to a degree.  They had themselves a night.  At one point I wondered if Bert's dad died again.

Henry is an asshole. unicorn.  He is 6'3" which you just don't see in full time RBs anymore.  And he isn't just big and powerful, he's a violent runner with really long arms, leading to some brutal stiff arms.  Not just running forward and knocking guys down, but just throwing guys around.  It's crazy.  I just don't remember a RB like him.

Amen brother!

Titans fans have seen him before. Eddie George.

If you put Dillon on the field in 11 personnel, that puts the DC in a very difficult no-win situation.
If the DC matches with nickel, Rodgers hands off to Dillon and they bludgeon the light box. If the DC matches with Base, Rodgers has 3 WRs vs 4 DBs and he'll dice 'em up. That's one of the hidden values of drafting Dillon - he makes it even easier for Rodgers at the LOS in his pre-snap reads
