Love me some Aaron Jones, but on those goal line plays give me some AJ Dillon, to plow through the line. Glad things worked out for the Packers, in any case!
As somebody who took the over in my buddies pick 'em pool, I would have loved to see more AJ Dillon at the goal line.
Its like you people have never seen AJ at the goal line before
The @Packers RBs are running ANGRY. @showtyme_33 #GoPackGo

I said earlier, he has a nose for the EZ.
The Cardinals have a stout goal line defense.
But, if this play was a TD, the one in the 4th qtr damn sure was.
Say what?

I was at that game, sitting up about 18 rows at the 33 yard line. I had a clear view directly in front of me of Marcol. I will always remember the surprised look of astonishment on his face when the ball got blocked back into his arms. He processed what to do for maybe a second, then took off running to the left. The whole stadium went totally ape shit with happiness.
I thought Marcol had a nose for coke. Getting into the end zone was secondary.
Yet he still managed to score more NFL touchdowns than you!
Can't score TDs when you are always watching movies.
Good thing Marcol didn't have time to think. He might have stopped at one of the white lines...

So next Sunday I expect to see "Football Game Films to Tivo". Bet I won't tho.

Yup, the Vikes previewed Debbie Does Dallas last week
And then thereβs this guy AJ.

I dare any one of you to pull that lamp chain! Youβll see lights alright!
I don't know if any #Packers draft pick in the modern era has connected with Wisconsinites quite like AJ Dillon...I'm talking like even the dudes who were born here. https://t.co/62VbVmtzyK

Love it

A.J. Dillon (77%)
...
Tony Pollard (73%)
Jamaal Williams (73%)
Joe Mixon (72%)
Elijah Mitchell (72%)
James Robinson (71%)
Sony Michel (71%)
Ezekiel Elliott (70%)
If we had our full OL of starters he may well be at 100%.
@Tschmack still thinks Dillon is a bum.
What a great draft pick!
@fightphoe93 posted:The side by side comparison of combine workouts between Dillon and Derrick Henry are incredibly similar which probably is what intrigued the Pack.
And thereβs this.
@Grave Digger posted:Just saw on SI that GB converted only 32% of 3rd and short a year ago. I think that was the impetus for drafting Dillon. Heβs a Brandon Jacobs/Derek Henry style bulldozer. We may not have gotten better in the pass game, but this critical area likely did get better.
And this.
Dillon helps the passing game by helping the run game. And the bonus is he's just fine catching the ball; he has good hands and no DB wants to see him coming down the sideline after AR hits him in stride.
