Another long hair lineman?
ROTTT must be comfortable with EDS starting if he's drafting this Bacteria guy. Would rather see C/G addressed.
Oh, well. I guess at #109, you just take whoever's left. Not really seeing much "wow" here.
Well...we do need help on the oline. I hope this guy is good.
Looks like he could be good depth. Kind of reminds me of Daryn Colledge. Has the versatility they seem to covet.
quote:"He's long (34-inch arms) and he's tall and he doesn't get much movement," one scout said.
LOL and NFL Network says he's shorter than teams like and his arms aren't very long.
Good thing the NFL Draft is a science.

#Packers take OT David Bakhtiari from Colorado. He's 6-4, 299 and just 21 years old.
TT loves the young uns

I doubt there is much wow left at this point.
Any mention of him being a former TE?
I keep thinking Lang is going to get the shot.quote:Originally posted by mr21mr21:

With Sherrod's future seriously cloudy, makes sense. I'm still hoping for a legit Center though

Might be considering flipping Bulaga to LT, and letting this kid compete for RT spot.
More notes from JSO: "Some notes on Bakhtiari: Started 33 of 34 games (22 at left tackle, 11 at right tackle). ...Had 255 knockdowns as a starter (7.73 per game). ...Had 27 TD-resulting blocks."
Like this pick.

I think they have compete on the inside, a lot of the scouting reports indicate he is tough enough to make the switch.

This.
Yeah, and Lang could probably handle it.
EDS is going to start.
DON'T YOU SAY SUCH EVIL THINGS!!!!
I think there is a good chance they'll groom Tretter for the job. He won't be the starter for very long.
And to get back on topic, Bakhtiari could be your best avatar since you retired Spitz.

Trick play coming sometime next year... vs the Bears probably.

Took him over Barret Jones who played multiple OL positions @ Alabama.
ROTTT!
I'm just going to call him Khal Drago because name looks Dothraki.
BTW, Rodgers has been sacked 202 times since 2008. Most in the NFL since then. Got no problems with strengthing the OL to protect the NFL's highest paid player.
Lots of different players since then. QB might want to make quicker decisions to help out.
I will say he seems to do a pretty good job of protecting himself when he takes sacks and doesn't get wiped out often.
