He can have Royce Newman, if the price is right.
According to PFF (I know) he was top rated OL in the league last week. 30 pass plays, zero
pressures or sacks
I don't need PFF to know that Bakh is a stud. And yet there are still people (not here) losing their shit on a weekly basis because he's on the injury report for veterans rest.

I wonder if Bakh decided to not play the game yesterday, given it was on artificial turf? In the game, MLF rarely ran to the left; in fact, I'm trying to remember how many times he calls a run to the left in any game... (anyone know?) Everything on the ground seems to go to the right. But the makeshift line held up pretty well yesterday in pass protection. What was unusual was seeing MLF rotate LTs practically every play. Wonder what that was about?
Was surprised a bit at how annoyed MLF got when asked those questions on Bak and his health.
Might that suggest he wasn’t aware that Bak was going to sit? I get not practicing but it sure sounds to me that load management is totally in play for rest of the year. Not great considering how good he is and how much money he’s making.
"Testiest" I've seen MLF, something about this game, other than losing a 12 pt lead, was really bothering him.
I’ll be interested to see if Bak told them he wasn’t going to play against ATL. I didn’t see the injury report indicate earlier this past week.

That is about as testy as I have ever seen MLF. I think he is pissed because a perfect storm happened. They blew a lead that they should have shut things out and the defense well was the usual defense playing soft and chasing all day. The offense was good in spots but couldn't close the deal, and I do think he is pissed about #69 because that causes a ripple effect for the OL. You of course are missing one of the top LTs in the league, and then having to shuffle guys around on the OL.
Tschmack, I think you hit on something and that perhaps MLF didn't know that Bak was going to sit? I don't think its good either because as you said for how good he is and they are paying him a truckload of money to PLAY.
I wonder if Bakh has decided to not play if a game is on artificial turf and waited to tell MLF? He hasn't been shy about saying how it causes injuries, and how much he hates it.
And if that's the case, would it be better to put him on IR given how little he practices and how the OL functioned yesterday? Or do you just make him inactive for every turf game and work around it? Or do you trade him?
Bacteria was the highest graded OT in week 1. After the game he's taking selfies with Marcedes on the field joking and laughing. Then he sits all week in practice and right before the game he isn't playing. Don't blame MiLF for being pissed!

This did not age well.
It's nice to have him for this year to give Love a little extra protection and develop, but if there are offers at the deadline, you have to take it.
It doesn't make sense to restructure and try to keep him past this year. So if you can get a pick you take it. If we cut him and he resigns with another team, do we get a comp pick or is that only if he is a FA and doesn't resign? I'm guessing FA only, so take what you can.

I think it would be reasonable to guess that MLF is pissed because Bahk is refusing to play on turf but isn't willing to air that dirty laundry.

Pretty limited trade market when you eliminate 14 teams before even starting discussions.
NFL stadiums with artificial turf
I don't think there is any conspiracy. i think 69's knee is bugging him again. sucks, but true. not turf. I think mlf is tired about talking about it over and over is all.
If Lombardi was still coach and GM, Bacteria would be a Cleveland Brown as of today
Need some factual information rather than speculation and conjecture.
You must be new here

Reminds me of Jim Ringo being the first Packer to hire an agent.
Lombardi excused himself, left the room, made a phone call and came back in the room to inform Ringo and his agent that he had been traded.

We're not going to get it. Only way the conspiracy gets put to rest is if he plays in the next turf field game. I think that is @Det in November.

I think he's more likely to be hurt on grass well before then than to have to make a decision to play on turf. I think he's probably done after this year in the NFL. Someone may sign him for a vet minimum (or maybe a very incentive-laden contract), but he's not getting 25 million a year which is what Tunsel just got. He'll turn 33 next season and with multiple knee surgeries and back problems, he might just hang it up.
He restructured this year to get another 13-14 million in cash, but next year he'll be 21 million dollars cheaper to cut than keep.

Week 12 at Detroit
Week 14 at NY Giants
Week 16 at Carolina
Week 17 at Minnesota
That's a lot of games to miss if you are trying to get into the playoffs.
They can cut him next year so NYJ can sign him as "a backup" T.
I love Bahk, especially when he plays.
Tell him to take 2 aspirin and play in the morning.
Nothing like an age old cure.
He needs an old age cure

I don't want to second-guess the coaches too much, but I don't think Walker is as ready for prime time as some have thought.
I don't know why Yosh didn't start at LT, and leave the rest of the line intact.
Of course, the shuffle may have been inevitable when Jenkins got hurt, but I still didn't see a need to move Tom to LG before then. Maybe after, too.
I realize Daktari is a vet and can play at a high level without practicing, but is that really in the best interest of the team? I know I would hate to do the grunt work during the week, then sit on the bench on Sundays.

No benefit putting him on IR, but if he needs rest give him rest and start blooding the young tackles. They settled down after a rough start. They just need to play.

No, Zach Tom was. If I had my way they would move Tom to LT let the other young tackles figure out RT and have Bahk back up Tom. That way he gets all the rest he needs unless Tom gets hurt.

Trade him to one of the Super Bowl favorites and he will play every game. The older I get the more I believe people when they say shit. Bahk thinks this is a rebuilding year and has decided to check out.

He also knows he's gone from Green Bay after this year and is going to do everything he can to maximize his chance to make a bit more money in his career.
MLF just had a hissy fit when pressed about Bak's status at current presser.
