No offense meant to anybody here who might be an English cigarette.
Or a bundle of sticks.
I just feel this is gonna be James Jones II.
I think he'll hit the free market and find no one willing to pay his price.
I just hope it doesn't then end up as Cullen Jenkins II. Though I think it might....

Very decisive post.
I'm getting ready to jump into the GOP race...

It seems as though Diggr14 needs a reminder to crapcan the politics.

Dig up that X4 rules thread. I think that is a bullet point...

I'd think we'd learn from the Cullen Jenkins debacle and give the man some coin to keep Aaron Rodgers on his feet!
Some coin, sure. Top 5 position coin? Thanks for your service.
Keep in mind, said coin is going to eventually need to keep Rodgers on the team, not just his feet.

Free agent center Chris Myers says he wants to stay with the Houston Texans, and dismissed reports that surfaced at the NFL Combine of the Green Bay Packers' interest in him.
“News to me, man,” Myers told 610 AM in Houston in a story picked up on the Texans website. “I don’t know what was going on. I’m just like anyone else reading that type of stuff, but it is what it is. In the long run, I want to be here in Houston, so that’s what I’ve been telling everybody when everyone asks me stuff, and that’s what it sums up to be. I want to be here. I want to see things through, and that’s the way it is. So that’s kind of the bottom line of my thinking.” continue
While it's only the Bleacher Report, they rank Wells #3 at center in teh league behind only Myers and Mangold. That would be another reason for TT to try and figure out the market price on Wells before Free Agency starts.
Center Rankings
In other interesting tidbits they ranked Marshall Newhouse #31 at LT (ahead of only Charlie Johnson), Brian Bulaga as the #2 RT (losing out to Eric Winston only due to missing four games and the minor durability knock it scored).

It's more interesting that the conference call I was on. I hate Mondays.
A conference call on the benefits of watching paint dry? Or was the topic this one:
"Bea Arthur. Hotter dead or alive?"
"Bea Arthur. Hotter dead or alive?"
Both of those may have been more interesting. Bea Arthur was a saucy mynx in her day, just ask Fedya.
Fedya would totally hit that. Beef would hit the corpse.
Jealous ?

Something wrong with her back?
Who was looking at her back?

Well, errr, yes?
If you had a front like her you'd have back pains...
Sometimes inlife you get what you pay for. Wells is rated the #3 Center in the league, so pay up and keep him. It's utter hubris to think that kind of talent is easily replaceable. We're only a season away from a super bowl, we don't need to rebuild! OL chemistry is very important; why screw with it?

She still looks pretty good for a man that has aged right along with her, done worse in my day.quote:Originally posted by atticus:quote:Originally posted by Fedya:

My guess on the contract he eventually signs:
4 years $25.5-27 million (only 17-19 in first 3 years).
4 years $25.5-27 million (only 17-19 in first 3 years).
I think that sounds about right coach. I've said this all offseason, Wells is a core player and the leader of that OLine, they're not going to want to lose him. Just a little hardball right now. Can't imagine either side wants a divorce.

On the wife's night-stand.

Sign a bit contract Wells, a big over paid one.
No matter who Wells picks, he will absolutely rue the day he left the best organization in all of sports
