Will be nice having Datone back.
Call me unimpressed, once again (sigh) I didn't hear his name even once last week.

I strongly disagree. It's very important to exorcise this demon...at home...now, while we have the chance. This is a BIG game!
It's HUUUUGE! It would be weak to pretend otherwise.... (Donald Trump voice)
Will be nice having Datone back.

Is this sarcasm? If not, Jesus ****...........

I'm assuming you're joking
Based on oldschool's avatar, appears it makes one deaf too.

LOL...yes. My point is that it doesn't matter if he plays or not. It's all the same.
I know I'm exaggerating, but damn...I'm worried he's on Henry's 5 year plan.

Win the ****ing Superbowl.
Long way to go....It's going to be a fun roller coaster ride
NO ****ING EXTENDED PRESEASON. Better not take 8 games to ****ing execute this defense.
The boot better be covered in badger toupee and front 7 ass stink.
The SB is ours this year Henry. Not looking for our D to be solid till midseason, but if they keep us in games and create turnovers I'll be happy. Tough first half schedule.
The "tough first half" has a lot of games at Lambeau.
It ain't that tough. Man up!
Maybe wrong thread to bring this up in.....but did anyone notice that Daniels looks fatter on Sunday? His gut looked to be much more pronounced than I remember. Just an observation......
Daniels, deliberately according to beat reporters during TC, came in at around 305-310. About 10-15 pounds more than last season. Idea was to bulk up more with good weight. I'd say the results are disappointing so far but let's see how Mouthy does once he shakes off the TC ankle injury and bangs some rust off.
Same as last year won't cut it. This is what the Boot is for.
In recent memory, when we had games against teams who had "weak" O-lines (real or perceived), they had a rookie starting or their starter is playing injured, or other circumstances when I would expect our front 7 to dominate, ...they haven't.
This indeed would be a great week for guys like Daniels and Datone to change that, not to mention Clay and Peppers.
Mama Marshawn speakin out:
In a post on her Facebook page, Delisa called Bevell "the worst playcaller ever" and suggested he gave the ball to Lynch in a critical spot Sunday to make up for the interception that ended Super Bowl XLIX.
"Too the smart azz media who wrote that's why marshawn didn't get the ball in the superbowl ,how many times did russell get sacked yesterday," Delisa wrote in the Facebook post. "Dont worry i will wait on the answer plus it was totally different at the superbowl the line was better than yesterday no blocking and to the offense caller who should have been fired yes i said it Fired !!! He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn't called in the superbowl ,but most fans already figured this out .were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win ,go figure #nfldontpayme# I love this team and will stand up to anybody who tries to destroy it boom!!!!"
Our next 7 games is roughly the 2nd toughest schedule in football. 4 at home, 3 away. That's with a .375 Rams team and .563 Chiefs and Chargers teams. I suspect all 3 will be better than their 2014 records.
Whatever. Just looking at our schedule man.
2nd half is better with games at home v. DAL and on the road @ AZ, @ OAK and 5 division games. Could make for a nice finish. If we finish the regular season 12-4 or better we should be good. Really good.

Here's the OL rankings for both teams:
OT (1-65)
31. Bulaga (Run Block #33, Pass Block #34)
39. Bakhtiari (Run Block #49, Pass Block #13)
59. Okung (Run Block #38, Pass Block #60)
64. Gilliam (Run Block #60, Pass Block #64)
OG (1-66)
15. Lang (Run Block #23, Pass Block #11)
23. Sitton (Run Block #39, Pass Block #11)
60. Britt (Run Block #61, Pass Block #53)
65. Sweezy (Run Block #49, Pass Block #61)
C (1-32)
3. Linsley (Run Block #2, Pass Block #15)
13. Nowak (Run Block #28, Pass Block #3)
The numbers represent little. We went up against the Bears, they went up against the Rams. Regardless, Daniels, Datone Jones, BJ Raji, Josh Boyd, Mike Pennel and Bruce Gaston all need to bust some ass Sunday night. Our DBs and LBs will benefit greatly.
Wow, Sam Barrington out for the year
#Packers believe a foot injury will knock starting ILB Sam Barrington out for the season, I’m told. They face Lynch & Charles the next 2 wks

Put Ryan in.
Feel bad for Bam Bam. Still my first reaction was that this could be addition by subtraction.
Put Ryan in.
Agreed cuqui. This may force Capers to again play Clay in the middle more.
Barrington is a replacement level player. At worst, Ryan is probably a younger version of AJ Hawk that hasn't lost the 3 steps that Hawk had when he arrived.
On another note, who would you rather hear pop off - Lynch's mother, Greg Jennings' sister, or various members of the Favre tribe?
This certainly clears the way for adding Datone Jones...
Barrington, like all the other ILBers on this team, are just a bunch of guys. The only real loss here is that it thins out what is already a thin/weak position group
Palmer/Jake Ryan mixing up the reps + bringing up Bradford or Vaughters to the 53-man roster. Personally, I'd hope it's Vaughters they bring up....he looked better than Bradford in preseason
Dear God not Bradford.
Dear God not Bradford.
Makes you wonder why they keep hanging on to this guy. 2 training camps plus an entire year on the 53 man roster without a snap. Now holding down a spot on the practice squad.
Mama? That's Marshawn in drag.
Barrington confirms he's done for the season. His msg at the link.
@WesHod: Sam Barrington on his Instagram: "2015 is our year. I'll be back to tear (stuff) up next year. That's a promise" https://t.co/ZEAJBqDPfA
Barrington, like all the other ILBers on this team, are just a bunch of guys.
Yes and no.
Barrington had enough time in the system to call the plays and line people up. That is something that the other guys simply don't have at this early point in their careers.
He isn't a savant just yet, but he was much further along than any of the other guys who are still flailing in the playbook. Can James Jones play ILB ?
Boom.
@TomSilverstein: #Packers officially place ILB Sam Barrington on injured reserve, activate DE Datone Jones from suspended list.
@TomSilverstein: Barrington did not receive the "designated to return" label. He is out for the season.
Kevin Rebstock He wasn't very good he will be replace by abother not very good linebacker should bring in Brandon spikes
At this point you roll with CM3 and Palmer and get Ryan more snaps. May have to use Richardson more in hybrid packages. None of these are ideal, but the glacial Brandon Spikes isn't the answer.
In honor of an old friend of mine...
At this point I don't know how you can argue that Vaughters/Bradford are better options than Spikes. Yeah he's terrible in coverage but Spikes wouldn't be a coverage ILB; he'd be a 2 down run stuffer. And they could use a 2 down run stuffer after what we saw on Sunday.
