I strongly disagree. It's very important to exorcise this demon...at home...now, while we have the chance. This is a BIG game!

It's HUUUUGE! It would be weak to pretend otherwise.... (Donald Trump voice)

Whatever. They were #4 ranked in run blocking and #23 in pass blocking last year.

Lost LG Carpenter and 2 time Pro Bowl C Unger in FA. Switched RT to LG. they now have a disaster in Gilliam at RT and a rookie C, Nowak, who played G and DL on their PS last year. Never played C before this preseason.

The bigger point is there are numerous spots where this SEA team has regressed. Should open up some opportunities.

Shift Clay to LOLB and bring in Ryan alongside Palmer. Could be good. And, as for Datone, now is as good a time as ever to make your move, son!

BTW, what about our DL stopping Lynch? Don't be giving those ****ers a pass. Our DL needs to show up and make some ****ing plays.

I'm assuming you're joking

LOL...yes. My point is that it doesn't matter if he plays or not. It's all the same.

I know I'm exaggerating, but damn...I'm worried he's on Henry's 5 year plan.

You have a point. He's been nearly invisible for 2 years. I'm trying to be nice. Wishing him well.

Daniels, deliberately according to beat reporters during TC, came in at around 305-310. About 10-15 pounds more than last season. Idea was to bulk up more with good weight. I'd say the results are disappointing so far but let's see how Mouthy does once he shakes off the TC ankle injury and bangs some rust off.

In recent memory, when we had games against teams who had "weak" O-lines (real or perceived), they had a rookie starting or their starter is playing injured, or other circumstances when I would expect our front 7 to dominate, ...they haven't.

This indeed would be a great week for guys like Daniels and Datone to change that, not to mention Clay and Peppers.

Mama Marshawn speakin out:

In a post on her Facebook page, Delisa called Bevell "the worst playcaller ever" and suggested he gave the ball to Lynch in a critical spot Sunday to make up for the interception that ended Super Bowl XLIX.

"Too the smart azz media who wrote that's why marshawn didn't get the ball in the superbowl ,how many times did russell get sacked yesterday," Delisa wrote in the Facebook post. "Dont worry i will wait on the answer plus it was totally different at the superbowl the line was better than yesterday no blocking and to the offense caller who should have been fired yes i said it Fired !!! He is the worst play-caller ever the only reason he called that dumb azz play yesterday is to be able to justify the 1 yard that wasn't called in the superbowl ,but most fans already figured this out .were still on a mission but i know the Seahawks staff loves that play caller more than a win ,go figure
#‎nfldontpayme# I love this team and will stand up to anybody who tries to destroy it boom!!!!"

Our next 7 games is roughly the 2nd toughest schedule in football. 4 at home, 3 away. That's with a .375 Rams team and .563 Chiefs and Chargers teams. I suspect all 3 will be better than their 2014 records.

Whatever. Just looking at our schedule man.

2nd half is better with games at home v. DAL and on the road @ AZ, @ OAK and 5 division games. Could make for a nice finish. If we finish the regular season 12-4 or better we should be good. Really good.

Here's the OL rankings for both teams:

OT (1-65)

31. Bulaga  (Run Block #33, Pass Block #34)

39. Bakhtiari (Run Block #49, Pass Block #13)

59. Okung (Run Block #38, Pass Block #60)

64. Gilliam (Run Block #60, Pass Block #64)

OG (1-66)

15. Lang (Run Block #23, Pass Block #11)

23. Sitton (Run Block #39, Pass Block #11)

60. Britt (Run Block #61, Pass Block #53)

65. Sweezy (Run Block #49, Pass Block #61)

C (1-32)

3. Linsley (Run Block #2, Pass Block #15)

13. Nowak (Run Block #28, Pass Block #3)

The numbers represent little. We went up against the Bears, they went up against the Rams. Regardless, Daniels, Datone Jones, BJ Raji, Josh Boyd, Mike Pennel and Bruce Gaston all need to bust some ass Sunday night. Our DBs and LBs will benefit greatly.

Barrington, like all the other ILBers on this team, are just a bunch of guys. The only real loss here is that it thins out what is already a thin/weak position group

Palmer/Jake Ryan mixing up the reps + bringing up Bradford or Vaughters to the 53-man roster. Personally, I'd hope it's Vaughters they bring up....he looked better than Bradford in preseason

Yes and no.

Barrington had enough time in the system to call the plays and line people up. That is something that the other guys simply don't have at this early point in their careers.

He isn't a savant just yet, but he was much further along than any of the other guys who are still flailing in the playbook. Can James Jones play ILB ?
