Talk about some of the all-time backfires in this thread.  Weโ€™re gonna have to bring our a game to win next week.  I want no part of the queens at home.  No win situation.  If we win, we were supposed to win.  If we lose....I canโ€™t even bear the thought of it.

Handle your business next week out west and we'll see you in Green Bay :-)

Already beat them twice. No need to prove it a 3rd time. NFL doesn't want that either.

No, the question is, can the Packers go into SF & beat the vaunted, #1 seeded Niners after getting curb stomped there in November?

I think that's what the NFL wants....unless they want to see another Niner/Seahawk classic, then the refs will try to completely hose the Packers in Lambeau.

Sorry boss, but now you're starting to sound like a viking fan.......

I think the NFL wanted the vikings in the Super Bowl the year the game was played in Minneapolis. Zimmy and crew came up short with Philly, that year, and added to the misery of the people who call themselves vikings fans. I do not get that vibe this year. I think the NFL wants the two teams from the two biggest TV markets left, in the big game. Money, money money--Money!  Since the Patriots are done and the NY teams and the LA area teams are not in the playoffs, that would leave Baltimore, SF, Houston or Seattle, as their choices for the Super Bowl match up. If GB makes it to the Championship, it throws the NFL's plans off. I say, GO PACK, GO!

The league would not mind to see a SF/Seattle rematch.  Not at all.

Not having the Patriots and Brady is a big deal.

The Packers still draw but arenโ€™t as sexy as they used to be.

Most casual viewers want to see star players rather than matchups.  Mahomes and Wilson fit that bill.

By the way, if you think officials and the league arenโ€™t steering or influencing results you arenโ€™t watching.  Sports gambling isnโ€™t limited to the NBA folks.
