I would have thought that migrating geese would have had more of an impact on the Stapler.
It's going to take 2 years to fix that dump already? Bet there will be more crap to fix before they are done with this. And the Vikings will be looking for the replacement for the replacement of Kirkland Cuzins.

I'd take Thielen over Diggs......
Racially motivated?
What?...no......
Pretty sure Tavis was joking. He's just bad at jokes.

The birds are a problem on any building with a large reflective surface. The birds see the reflection as open air and simply fly into it.
But wind damage? Leaking? My, my, my - designers were asleep at the computers. Supporting long lengths of aluminum siding with few supports is almost like thinking a soft membrane would hold out 4 feet of snow. That is what I think I saw. They probably would not listen to any good idea.
One "good idea" they did not listen to, for sure, was to make their new stadium an outdoor stadium with no roof on it. But their fans are wusses and needed the comfort of being in an air conditioned venue with a leaky roof that will cost them millions in repairs and continuous maintenance to keep the place from being condemned. And that isn't counting any "championships" that may have come their way by exploiting those cold "Minnesota winters" as a natural advantage over teams from warmer climates. This is so fitting for a bunch of never beens suffering from "ETCS" (Empty Trophy Case Syndrome) and the "look what we've done" purple showboats!

The comments field, as usual, is full of comic gold.
Spielman wrote this comment:
Since we're all playing armchair GM this is what I'd do. I'd cut Rhodes, Reiff, and Rudolph then re-sign Cousins to a 2-3 contract with a possible option year. Hopefully creating enough cap space to sign Harris and Alexander. Then I would attempt to sign a OL or CB in FA. Then I would dangle our 2020 and 2021 1st round picks for a starting OL or DB whatever they didn't get in FA along with a couple picks in 2-4th rounds. Then draft some OL, DL, DB, and a legitimate #3 WR along with a late round stab at a possible future QB. The Vikings usually draft late in the first round so getting some extra picks and a starter would be well worth it.
Holy nutballs.
The Vikings are like a neutron walking into a bar and asks the proton bartender, "how much for a drink?" The bartender replied "For you, no charge". The neutron said, "Are you sure?, the proton replied "I'm positive."
The Vikings might ask for another season to study that more. Not grasping the obvious - par for the course. Preventing a good team from emerging - priceless.
Awesome physics joke. I'm using that at my next laser party.
You throw the best parties!
Ain't no party like a laser party. The guy on the right got a little carried away at the last one.

I didn't think Jaymopuss and Brown Paper Kitty Litter Bag allowed camera's at their frat parties?
You'd think they'd at least have a leg lamp at their frat house for cripes!
Fun trivia about that picture: Chris Miller, one of the co-writers of the movie, is the guy in the wheelchair on the far right. Interviewed him once for a story and he was just naturally funny.
An article on the soon to come collapse of the viking defense... I'm loving this!

Finally some good news, and don't we need it....Kirk is extended!
Man, not a good time to have a TP shortage in Minnesota!
Per Jay Glazer:
Bills acquired WR Stefon Diggs and a 2020 seventh-round pick from the Vikings in exchange for 2020 first-, fifth-, and sixth-rounds picks and a 2021 fourth-round pick.
No more Diggs, Rhodes, Joseph, Weatherley, or Griffen ... and the personnel losses have not yet ended.
And Kirk for 3 more years for all that money.
The implosion of the Purple is proceeding according to plan.
That's a pretty good haul for the Vajeens. Bills overpaided.
It's only a good haul if the players drafted with those picks can play.
Bill's got a proven player, and Viks have Spielman.
If Speilman had smerts, he’d parlay those picks into another four picks and get a good base for the future. But, extending Cousins was a huge mistake. He’s trying to rebuild without rebuilding and he doesn’t have enough pieces to do that...
Now, the vikes have to extend Spielman. I need more good news for the Packers!
Henry posted:That's a pretty good haul for the Vajeens. Bills overpaided.
Yep, Bills gave up a haul in a great WR year. Maybe the Vikings will find another Troy Williamson with the pick.
I really don't get giving up that much for a WR unless maybe he's peak Julio or Megatron. Hopkins' deal was closer to normal than Diggs'. Then again you have guys like Jerry throwing powerball $ at WR's.
Queens roster devastation proceeding as predicted.
So far, with the Anthony Harris contract/trade in the balance and the team still at or above the cap, the casualties include:
Rhodes, Waynes, Alexander, Sendejo, Kearse, Weatherly, Griffen, Joseph, Diggs, and Kline.
The D will not be the same in 2020.
but they've got their capt'n kirk!!!
