Shouldn't there be zeroes too in honor of the tie?
+ Packers won.
- The read option call in OT. Another case of Mike trying to be the smartest guy in the room. Hand the ball off Mike.
Minus is clock management and wasting time outs. A total joke. And settling for FG's has become the MM norm.
Plus is AR survived.
The defense deserves barely any negatives. For the most part, they did their job with the exception of Dix and House. How much can you do when you're marooned on the field by ****ing refs?
That defense looked so different from the last 10 years.
Nope, that's not it.
Maybe Rodgers didn't unnecessarily burn three time outs.
Yep, getting warmer. Except he did.
McCarthy sucks and is ultimately responsible for everything ever.
Yes.
The two biggest things I'd rarely have much concern over, refs and clock management, was beyond awful. **** this team is a god damn hot mess at times. The offense just throws a ****ing rod seemingly out of nowhere.
**** the NFL

Yes.
They are both responsible. There's no way around it. But what broke ass **** was going on to call timeouts to avoid delay of game calls?
+++ Rodgers finished the game with a brace on his injured left knee
30-42 281 yards 1 td
queens found their kicker
I have literally no idea what to make of this game.
D looked smokeshow until 4th quarter.
Rodgers I thought played outstanding especially given the circumstances.
Crosby was the ****, but bottom line missed a chance for the win.
and then thereβs the Clay Play. Text book if you ask me. I donβt know. WTF? The only thing Iβll say is that I was brought up that you never blame the officiating for a loss (or tie). Donβt put yourself in that situation. ****
I am glad I gave up my season tickets last year. The NFL has become unwatchable. The referees determined the outcome of this game. The only good thing is that the vikings wasted a 5th round pick.
FTNFL
D was probably gassed.

Goddamit. He's WAY better than that.

425 yards passing, 4 TDs from Cousins. Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph all ran wild. 480 yards and 29 points total for MN. That looks like a negative to me. All of the fans may just want to blame it all on the phantom late hit on Matthews, but Pettine better be telling his guys how ****ty they were after this one. A lot needs to be fixed.
Gotta correct myself. Read option was Rodgers decision to keep it. Didnβt pull it back fast enough. 100% on him.
Easy win if the Packers finish drives in the end zone. You repeatedly settle for field goals against the better teams and you just keep them in the game.

and zero pass rush when it matters.
I thought the Taylor holding call on Grahamβs TD catch was bush league. Refs gotta let that one go.

I can't even dispute this.
+Allison looks fine as WR3, Alexander is a player, and
-KIng getting injured, House looking bad though he should not have been on Diggs, and the lack of a viable running attack.
**** this game. **** this league. See you Sunday.

Seahawks game, MM has learned nothing.
I believe you may have missed today's game, Excalibur.

I may be wrong, but...we're still in first place in the NFC North. Right?

What is Pettine supposed to do to generate a pass rush?
Tell Clay it is time, not that is it way past his prime time?
Pretend Nick Perry is not slowly working himself back from his latest injury?
Ask Brady Poppinga to put on his old number 51 because Fackrell clearly can't play?
There is just nothing happening at the out side linebacker position right now outside of a little Reggie Gilbert action.
So I guess my point is I donβt know whether to be :
-
-Pissed at the Packers for ****ting the bed defensively
-Pissed at the refs for taking the game from GB
or
+
-Fortunate to get out of this game with a tie given MN ****ty kicker.
I wonder how MN looks at this game?

Especially after the defense salted away the game against the team in the NFCC game last. Oh wait! No they didn't because of BULL**** ****ING CALL. IT WAS DONE! OVER!
Adams needs to make that catch., Lindsay needs to snap the ball, MM or AR or who TF is responsible for play calling needs to get it called quicker, love Tramon but he has lost a step or a quickness twitch, the refs were turrible, seemed mostly to us but plenty of bad calls to go around, a time out at the end of regulation could have helped, and Crosby god bless him, needs to make that.
And why the RO or whatever you call it on I believe 3rd and 1 with Peg Leg Pete keeping it? Wrong time for that.
AR is a freaking warrior.
+ Watching the Vicklings celebrate the FG then realize he missed it.
+Richie Cunningham kicks for the Queens.
-no revenge this game
-Richie Cunningham won't be kicking for the Queens
I can't even decide what was plus and what was minus. That was one of the most frustrating games I've seen in many years. Part of me just wanted them to lose because a tie was like some reward for wvr that was they did out there today. They made plays that won the game, they made plays that lost the game.
They took the ball out of Rodgers' hand, then gave Rodgers plenty of chances to win the game. After HHCD int- I think- they went for the kill and Adams couldn't finish. They call a read option play, whether designed or not....that works 10 times out of 10 normally, due to AR's execution. He screws that up.
The defense got scorched, yet made game winning plays. They get pressure to cause a killer int, but get flag on 52 because no one knows the rules anymore. Garbage call, but bad calls shouldn't prevent you from making plays to win games.
Automatic Crosby can't make the re-kick.
+ That slop is over
+There were many players making many plays
+ Somehow while Cousins ripped that defense apart, they were able to summon enough to allow a tie.
- MM and wvr he was thinking on that sideline second half and ot.
- Pettine needs to let these young dbs loose on blitzes when it counts. Matthews and Perry should and do get pressure, but the only guys that can finish on designed blitzes are the young kids with speed. Idek how I feel about Clay at this point. Did he make a play or was he one step slow which caused the official to knee jerk the flag?
- This marathon crapfest was at home. Very good chance the second meeting could decide the division, and it's at the sperm dome.

This is where I am right now. Packers played good enough to win against a quality opponent, and the refs just stole it from us. Hard to sit here and think positives and negatives when the game gets ruined like that. Itβs not even worth analyzing. **** it.
Let me ask this for those who bring up the "should've played better to not be in that situation". Is being up by 8 points and picking off the ball to seal the game not enough? Do they need a complete rout in every game?
I won't dispute that it was a bad call on Matthews, and it obviously gave the Vikings another chance. But you know what? Bad teams latch onto bad calls and make excuses. Good teams pick themselves up and overcome them. Right now, the Packers do not have a good defense.
The bad calls on QB hits like the one we saw today are made every single week in the NFL. Not only will these calls keep coming, they will continue to get worse in the coming years. Any time an Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady goes on IR, the NFL will institute even more restrictive rules to protect their golden geese the following offseason. It happens every time one of the big star QBs goes down.

In the myriad of horseschit fukking calls I completely forgot this one where the DL simply fell down on his own and that stole a TD.

Of course, the defense needs work but if you can't see the vast improvement from last year I don't know what to tell you. The play calling, improvising with what you got checked a top contender pretty god damn well. When you're stuck on the field in 80+ degree heat **** is going to happen. They won it. The game was won.
Am I going to give two ****ing ****s in a couple hours? No, but call a spade a spade.
Wrong thread.
Maybe you shouldn't have watched the game in your mom's basement.
Only saw a few series and had to listen to radio call. But it sounds like House was the weak link for the D. I knew when I saw him on Diggs/Theilen we were toast. O has to find the EZ. And where the F'n F was Lewis?
Corrente said the Clay hit wasn't called because of the new rule, which baffles me even more.
