Sane is a pure winger, and Low tried to use him in a CF or CAM role with poor results.

Germany isn’t going to get in a shootout with teams like Brazil and Spain, even with Sane, so their best bet is to get the players that best fit the system. Die Mannschaft Autobus will be firmly parked in the back third vs top teams. Vs teams like Mexico and Panama they will name the score.

It all gets going in about 13 hours, live coverage starts on FOX  TV at 9:00 am.

first match Saudi Arabia vs the host nation Russia

the  CBS predictor says, host country gets off on the right foot  scoring a goal in each half  to take 3 points in group A.

My first appointment is at noon....I guess my morning is booked.

Lucky SOB. I hope Saudi park the bus and hold Russia to a nil nil draw.

Possible...but since Low dissed Sane, I can't pull for the Krauts.

Because the entire World Cup should be run for the benefit of Man Sh!tty players.

No, because he was outstanding in the Confederations Cup and should have been on the squad. But being the provincial twat he is, Low decided he was going to go with a white Bundesliga player instead.

Three more matches on tap today,  one already in the books,

Uraguay  scored in the 89th minute to beat Egypt.....1-0

2nd  match is going on now,  at the 65 minute mark Morocco tied with Iran 0-0

and lastly  at 1: 00,  heavyweights  Spain  vs  superstar Christaino Ronoldo led Portugal

how will the tourney favorites respond to their new coach????

Did you see that kid from Morocco head one into his own net, and then the guy from Iran raised his arms like he made the goal.  Even though the game ended in a tie Spain sure looks smooooooooooooth  short crisp passes, wear the other team down and then bam attack....very fun to watch,  alot like the Packers offense with a healthy  #12.   They sure get started early, day 3 under way 8o am another superstar on the field Lionel Messi  Argentina vs Iceland, lets see if height advantage helps,  Iceland has 10 of 11 players over 6 foot.
