They look like a great team, but the sum is definitely greater than the parts. They are going to play teams with way more talent and this time those teams will be ready for them.

Mexico is a hated rival, that's where it begins and ends. I'd never cheer for the Vikings either.
Three weeks ago, this same Mexico squad looked like absolute dog-$hit vs a bad Wales team. Then ended up the 2 seed in a what looked like a strong group because of Germany, but turns out, Germany is god-awful this cycle. Trailing to the last team from Europe to qualify. So much of the WC is how easy of a draw you have. Germany being so bad basically gave them a cakewalk to the knockout stage. Same with Russia in their group.

No ****. The announcers have generally been annoying. Calling the game over when there are 60 minutes and stoppage time is stupid.

Been watching USA vs Mexico since I was 8. Trust me, there’s a long history of dirty tackles, cheap shots and from their fans, racist and homophobic chants. There’s also huge arrogance about their domestic league, LigaMX, being superior in every way to MLS.
It’s a fun rivalry.
