Have to assume he's going to be 100% and jacked up and ready to go.
This article says the Packers are ready to go toe-to-toe with these guys, which is good. All the same, I hope the offensive game plan is to spread them out and use more finesse, at least until the defense wears down a little.
tom silverstein â@TomSilverstein #Packers practice: Cobb, Nelson, Boykin missing. So much for full strength at WR. McMillian not here again. No other changes.
Maybe now DD will dress....
How injured is Boykin?
It thought it was pretty bad. Are reporters expecting him to be practicing?

I believe Boykin ended up avoiding serious injury. I thought for sure he blew out his knee on that one.
Some reporters on Twitter are speculating that Cobb may just have the flu that's hit the team pretty hard. He was there all day yesterday and no one noticed an injury.

Jason Wilde â@jasonjwilde McCarthy confirms that Jerron McMillian has a personal issue. Says he is traveling back to Green Bay today.
Wonder what is up?

(forgive me, it wasn't right, I know there is a war on women going on, but saying it just felt good and isn't that what a Progressive society is?)

@TyDunne
#Packers injuries of note: Randall Cobb (illness), Jerron McMillian (not injury related), Jordy Nelson (ankle).
@TyDunne
McCarthy: Feel pretty confident at the receiver position, that they'll be ready to play. Hopeful Nelson can practice tomorrow.
@jasonjwilde
McCarthy says Nelson's ankle injury is ongoing, "something Jordy has been fighting through."
@TyDunne
McCarthy on Driver: What he means to organization is well-documented. As far as being inactive, that's not easy for anyone.

McCarthy: This is the time of year you want to be fresh. Don't want to wear your team out. May have been times early in career did too much.
@TyDunne
McCarthy: Top priority is to be fresh for Saturday night.
@TyDunne
McCarthy: Think we're comfortable in the no-huddle right now.
@TyDunne
McCarthy on Starks' role: We'll see how it goes. Not going to say how we're going to play the game.
@TyDunne
MM: Young guys here around the clock. Coaches do excellent job. Meetings early in morning w/younger players. Encouraged to be here on Tues.
@TyDunne
McCarthy on Barclay: Most impressed with his approach, his consistency. Tough young man. Doesn't overreact to things. Steady.
@TyDunne
MM: Jim has done excellent job w/ 49ers. Record speaks for itself. Appreciated what they did last yr. No off-season program. Speaks volumes.
@TyDunne
McCarthy on TE's: Their two-TE package is excellent. Do a # of different things. Will spread you out in formations.
@TyDunne
McCarthy on WR's: Important for us to get points from perimeter players. Receivers will have opportunities Sat but football starts up front.

Agree. A lot of time is spent dissecting X's and O's, matchups and other BS when most games are won or lost up front on both sides of the ball.
Gotta keep the Smith twins (Different mamas... and daddys) off of AR... Gotta have Pick and Raji plug up the middle. If that occurs, I like our chances.
I just like our chances.
So does a lot of the national media, which I honestly find a bit surprising.

I was 174-81-1 in the picks contest using sheer dumb intuition.
I pick GB.
Duuude! You kicked that machines ASS!!
Can only imagine what the "prediction machine" was spitting out in 2010 for the Packers:

@ Atlanta
@ Chicago

Boris, you nailed it. No matter the intelligence of the machine, it can't account for kick-assedness. That will be its downfall.

So Brad Childress should have been able to beat the machine. And yet he failed miserably as a head coach.
Childress is an exception to any rule.
But he makes great tacos.
Is there any chance Alex Smith could start for 49ers Sat night in place of CK?

I would say, no chance. CK will be playing, you can take that to the bank.
From the comments field:
quote:Music to the ears of every Packers fan. Expecting Smith to play just as lousy as Ray Lewis did this past weekend will be welcomed by the Green Bay offense. Letâs not kid ourselves here, Smith is going to be a non-factor and will only hurt the 49ers by playing.
I would attack him.
Hard to make tackles or fight off defenders with 1 arm.

You could clap by slapping yourself in the face.
