If Rapoport has the New Orleans rumor correct, I think it is likely that they are looking to trade up for Jordan Willis.
Rivers?
Wouldn't be surprised if Duke Riley is higher on Thompson's board (than Cunningham). Riley was my pick to be the round two selection, but I don't know how Thompson would pass on Jordan Willis if he is still there. Awuzie still in the mix. Chris Wormley and Chris Godwin are two more players that I think Ted would really like.
Cowboys will take Willis here.
Perine here?
Rivers. And **** you Houston!!!!!!!!!
Fabien Monroe still on the board with sub 4.4 speed.
Pack about about be on the clock
They are going to have to put up chicken wire.
****ing Cowboys!
drew pearson still has some fire
Drew throwing shade at Philly. That was fun.
Why over the tup
okay all here comes willis
Now THATS entertainment
Alvin Kamara...eventually I will be right.
Morgan Burnett is a short-timer now
I repeat: ****ing Cowboys.
boooooooooooo...where are we going to get pressure on the edge this year!
Our two good starting OLBs....
One of which just had a double digit sack season.

And Ha Ha too?
5 DBs at the top of the draft in the last 3 years, it better start paying dividends soon
Pierson was great, but the Packers have eight more titles than the Cowpies.
Not shocked by the Jones pick. Another big and fast guy. I would have rather gone linebacker (inside or outside), but depth at safety was definitely an issue.
Josh Jones cb
Another 4.4 speed guy for the Packers. And built like a LB. I have a feeling this will be a hybrid S/LB that is becoming more and more trendy in the NFL.

2 of the last 3 NFC Title games aren't cutting it for you?
I guess one guy has to become competent. Wanted Kamaraβ¦trade up and get himβ¦
Is Thompson admitting 2015 was a huge miss?

No...TT looking at Burnett's contract status - he is a FA after this season

No! Not with the best QB in the game! Waaay too many picks on DBs without seeing it pay offβ¦
EDIT: And defense as a wholeβ¦
It's hard to win a SB
Yoop - No, no he's not.
Jones 20 shuttle and 3 cone times were not very good. Ted is sick of watching his defense get run off the field and seems to be favoring the good old-fashioned 40-yard dash time this year.

Neither of whom have a reputation for durability, which is an issue.

They needed another starting CB, you need at least 3 of those btw, and they drafted an eventual replacement for their SS who is in a contract year. Don't see that as admitting anything.
Witherspoon now gone.
He may be admitting that the defensive backfield wasn't worth a crap last year but anybody who was paying attention would already know that.
I'm not a big fan of going safety this early but depth was a huge issue at that position. Nothing wrong with Burnett and Clinton-Dix but can you imagine what a disaster it would have been if either of those guys would have missed 6-8 weeks combined with the horrendous cornerback play?
People can say what they want about no pass rush but the team was 6th in the NFL in sacks and 12th in hurries and while that may not be top shelf it still is way above average and should have been good enough if the defensive backfield held up it's part of the bargain.
