Every coach other than MM needs to ensure AR is the only QB MM needs to coach while not totally relying on AR accomplishing everything.

Lombardi 14 is a pretty simple equation. Been that way for years.

Shields undercutting a deep cross with closing speed like we’ve never seen in years was a huge part of Jason Bourne II in Dallas. Barely losing to Pitt was “We’re nobody’s underdog 2.0”. An even better Lacy game.

Mike needs to get his **** together. This is a potentially great team.

Some media news. Best wideout I've seen in a Packer uniform.

Can't disagree about Lofton but Sterling was damn close with a shorter career

Cool that James is joining the broadcast team.

This team is potentially a great team - it's been painfully obvious for about 4-5 years now the defense needed to change - thankfully it has.

Shields hasn't played meaningful football in 2 years - The Rams signed him this year & are praying he can play

And are praying a strong breeze doesn't cause his umpteenth concussion as well.

Sterling Sharpe and Bo Jackson should be in the NFL HOF. When they played it was virtually impossible to contain either.

Sterling Sharpe or Jerry Rice was a legitimate argument in 1992. That’s how good Sterling was. He ****ing made 1st team All Pro BEFORE Brett Favre arrived in GB!!!!!

Had both played longer careers they’d recieve every bit of historical legitimacy they deserve.

In 7 years Sterling was selected 1st team All Pro 3 Times. Which is another way of saying Sterling Sharpe and Jerry Rice are the best WRs in football. Irvin and Monk are HOFs making 1st Team All Pro ONCE!!!!!

Sterling didn’t blow guys like Peter King and others in the media. Ever.

Love Sterling Sharpe.

I have to agree about Bo Jackson the stats aren't as strong as someone might think with 515 attempts and 2,782 yards and 16 TD's but you are right he was unstoppable.

Sharpe?  I knew he was good but wow in 7 short years he put up:

595 reception for 8100 yards and 65 TDs

The Packers have signed rookie receiver Adonis Jennings of Temple, according to his agent David Canter. Jennings was with the Packers during their June minicamp on a tryout basis. Their roster was at capacity -- 90 -- before this so there will have to be a corresponding roster move coming.

The Packers have signed WRs Adonis Jennings and Kyle Lewis, and placed WR Michael Clark and G Cole Madison on the reserve/did not report list. The announcement was made Wednesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Ok. Little clarity......Michael Clark has apparently decided to walk away from football entirely. Stuffed Jebidiah is absent attending to personal matters

So the Clark discussion is officially over.

Agreed. Bo Jackson was a big back with breakaway speed. He put all the stats he did (38 games in 4 years, only 13.6 attempts per game but 73 yards rushing per game) without any training camps. He was not in football shape.

Bo was like Gayle Sayers in terms of impact and injuries, but Sayers at least played 64 games before he got hurt. Bo was also a All-Star level baseball player. The fact he hit 29 home runs in 532 at bats WITH AN ARTIFICIAL HIP is amazing.

Sterling Sharpe's closest comparator is probably Anquan Boldin. Sharpe was better at his peak, but he lasted only half as long. Boldin has a ring and >1000 catches and is a likely HOFer.

Sun setting in the West. Taxes. Death. And Nick Perry with a "hand". All schit you can rely on in this world..

Don't forget in Sharpe's rookie campaign he caught only 55 passes so in six years he averaged 90 catches- un gosh damn believable!  I still miss him and even though he was not a fan friendly person a scary talent when healthy

No need for stats to tell anyone that watched that Sharpe was far, far better than Boldin. I truly despise the argument you have to play a long time to validate you were one of the best ever.

Agreed.  I think Boldin was a very good player at times, but Sharpe was a step above him.   Sharpe didn't have blazing speed, but he was faster than Boldin and could do everything else that Boldin could do.  Both were great at tracking a ball down that might be thrown a little bit askew and both were very strong in traffic.

The only reason I’ll ever appeciate Michael Irvin is because he’s forever going to be the “if that clown made the hall....” argument for every potential WR from now until forever. Same goes for Aikman.

Take a look at Sharpes numbers in 7 years vs Irvin’s over 12. It’s silly that one of them is in the HOF and the other isn’t. Silly.

Stuffed Jedediah is my camp sleeper. So if he needs to finish plowing the back 40 before heading to GB, so be it.

I think the biggest thing he'll need to learn is staying put on the line considering Leach basically told him to play sandlot ball in college.  See what he can do in run game.

Next, it'll be his wishbone.

Years ago I put together a business plan to start a beachwear company called Wishbone. Based on the singular premise that no one owned intellectual property on the design of a flip flop sandal. Which from the top down perfectly resembles a Wishbone.

My design and brand would have altered beachware forever and possibly the X Games. But capital and all....

Im still traveling the globe doing my own thing and I can’t stand seeing the word Wishbone now.

Some longevity is necessary though.  Lots of guys had a stretch of one or two seasons.

Bo Jackson was a blast to watch for a short time, but he's not HOF

I need to fact check this a lot more. But I believe Bo is the only RB to have 3 carries over 85 yards in the history of Football. During his 5 year hobby.

If there's some Hall Of Fame for general athletic freaks, Bo Jackson would be my first choice to be elected in.  I agree he just didn't accomplish enough to make it in the NFL HOF.  Incredible shining star for a brief moment, still haven't seen an athlete of that caliber enter the NFL since Bo was injured in '90 playoffs.
