A Star is born!
He looked great after the two clunkers that hit him right in the hands.
I liked that MLF was in his face with a boost. That had to give Watson an extra shot of confidence.
if that what it takes, then everyone should have one before a game

It didn't give me a happy ( I watched 3 times in a row ) but it Made me happy !
I have a Boost every day, but now it's...

@Iowacheese posted:He has a ridiculous burst as evidenced on the third TD
His time has come.
Clearly he's no George Pickens.
I am going to go ahead and predict this. I think he gets 3TDS again this Thursday nite! Maybe even 4 tds. That " Light" has come on now . He sure was the "darling" on the sport channels this week. Either that or he could go Forrest Gump on us and fuel the fire here I guess.
Wow, doubling down! Bold move.

How about this for a trick play ? Practice with Watson to throw a pass from his end around play to a wide open reciever for a huge gain or TD ? Stop me please !
Young man has some definite smarts..
Because we don't have a lot of access to this kind of information, it was easy to underestimate how much Christian Watson's intelligence would help him adjust to the NFL from North Dakota State.

Listen to him break down coverage, scheme, and plan. NDSU wins titles for a reason. pic.twitter.com/79GsRTmT7z
If TEN gives him free releases off the LOS, he could have another big game.
I expect they will challenge him more.
I got some extra Thai spices and curry, if anyone needs it. Should do the trick to tame that gamey taste of crow.

The pass must go to a gimpy veteran OL. Themβs the rules.

He's skinny but he's no Slim Pickens either!

Slim Pickens was the bomb!

Christian Watson named NFL Rookie of the Week for his 4/107/3 game in the OT win over Dallas.

Not a surprise and well-deserved.
Christian Watsonβs month of November:
4 games
14 receptions
22 targets
289 yards.
20.6 yards/catch
6 TDs
Get stronger, stay on the field, learn the offense, and you might have a career.
Dude has some electrifying speed.
He doesnβt look fast while obviously very fast.
for the record, he is fast
Yeah, heβs a long strider, but unlike most long striders he has short area quickness. If the kid learns to catch, watch out!
I think the commentary about being able to gear down is good to hear - on/off speed doesnβt work that was more mvs- 9 has more of a feel for where to gear down and settle
He's also way looser in the hips than MVS was, who sometimes while running routes looked like a game piece on one of those vibrating electric football games.
Watson gotta lotta wiggle for a big fast guy.
Many years ago, I was a coach for a women's softball team in a church league.
One girl had never played before, and as one might imagine, she was terrible.
But, OMG, she was blindingly fast! It was jaw-dropping to watch her run when she actually got a "hit"; she would barely make contact with the ball and it would dribble out a few feet, and she would literally be standing on 2nd base by the time the catcher would field it!
That's what I think of when I see Watson run. His speed differential is that obvious.
@Packiderm posted:Mahomes runs like that! I 've ben trying to figure out what he reminds me of and that's it!
So did Ryan Grant. It's like he was connecting the dots.
I am not getting excited about him until Herschel gives his expert opinion on him.

He's a little busy preparing for a runoff right now.
I hear he's doing sprints to get ready.
Offensive rookie of the month for the month of November!
Butβ¦..bust!
Nothing but a bunch of Eeyores here.
We need to institute a βScoreboard of Rongβ in here.

@SteveLuke posted:5 games in, CW has 6 catches for 51 yards I believe.
That projects to nearly 200 yards on the season.
Steve Luke with an early lead on the scoreboard.
@Tschmack posted:More injuries and games missed in rookie year than catches. What an accomplishment.
Never underestimate Tschmack.
I definitely was an eyeore, but it was more on the concussion front than his talent. I was almost ready to say βshut him down for the yearβ after they pulled him for the 2nd game in a row.
Fortunately they were just being cautious and he didnβt have a concussion after that 2nd game they took him off the field.
Letβs just hope that going forward he stays healthy. If he stays healthy, heβll be one of the top deep threats in the NFL.
