Pandemic caused the cap to be much lower than they had projected, ergo, when some of these contracts were written, they thought it would be higher was what I meant.

Right, but in terms of going all in vs. rebuild wouldn't the pandemic favor a rebuild simply due to economics?  That's why it seemed a bit weird when Goopy said the pandemic changed the way the Packers are doing business for now.  I wasn't commenting on your comment, more Gunky's.

@Henry unless Gurt, Ballz and WMM are feeling the heat from the board to justify an 0-fer the last 3 years in terms of Superb Owl.

I mean we all know the Packers board aren't the toughest bosses, but back to back MVP's, best record going into the playoffs the last two years and zero to show for it makes the FO look like idiots.

I think that's a big reason they opened the bank for Biscotti.

WMM is getting scared if we don't win a championship the board isn't going to sign off on his new bouncy house and ball pit.

Ima make (more) enemies.

Been in the South 30 years and have never witnessed the spectacle of fat that one sees at the Wisconsin State Fairâ€Ķespecially near the cream puff pavilionâ€Ķwe called it “The Wisconsin Waddle”. You could get trampled if you got between Vern and Gladys (Vern in an electric scooter) and the pavilion.

I freely admit I should/could lose 15 lbs to be more fit and healthy. But, I feel so sad for the toilets of those 300 lbs plus slobs who crash down on them with their fat asses. Toilets in America deserve better as they are straining under the enormous weight of pressure from above. Toilet lives matter too!

As a guy who at one time used to have to replace wall hung potties I agree

From packers.com:

GREEN BAY – London has finally called for the Green Bay Packers.

The NFL announced on Monday the Packers will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in 2022. Green Bay previously had been the only team to not have played a regular-season game in the NFL International Series, which began in 2007.

Last year, as part of the NFL's expansion of the regular season to 17 games, it was determined that, beginning with the 2022 season, up to four of the teams from the conference whose teams were eligible for a ninth regular-season home game would instead be designated to play a neutral-site international game.

Dates, matchups and kickoff times will be confirmed as part of the full 2022 schedule announcement later this year.

"This is something the league office has been talking to us for a long time about. We were the last team to play a game internationally," Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy told packers.com's Larry McCarren. "The fans there are really going to relate well to the Packers organization. It's a great opportunity for NFL fans in Europe to become more familiar with the Packers and be more likely to come to Lambeau for a game in the future."

First overseas game in 15 years for the Packers...I can deal with it. It's the extra home game we're getting (9) so it's not really losing a home game from a budgetary standpoint.

Been wanting to see Spurs new stadium...maybe I can convince @Goalline to do a roadie...

That sounds good. Going to Ghana this year. Maybe I can fold in a trip to the UK.
