JHFC, just because you've heard of her doesn't mean she's any different in the relationship than any other woman he may end up with. In fact it's better because she's used to the limelight and has her own money so he can avoid the gold diggers.

Celebrities are exposed to more seductions than normal people, but athletes are celebrities too and groupie trees aren't much of a secret. I used to hang out with Charles Barkley's "Minny gal" and a number of the gals know each other and hang out together. Plenty of "civilian" gals get tired of the treadmill and bolt, as well.

Many pro athlete relationships that last are with couples that met long before one became a pro athlete.

Up until a couple of weeks ago I had no idea what ghee actually was.  

My wife finally commented on this and said Rodgers and his actions and behaviors are probably due to CTE.  Or he’s just a hyper sensitive, quirky, full of himself type person.  With CTE.

I don’t buy the CTE thing one bit in Rodgers’ case.  This is a guy that won Celebrity Jeopardy just a few years ago and was looked at as a potential host just last year.  Plus he’s always making comments about how good he feels, etc.

I think he’s always been flaky, it’s just more out in the open now.

I’ve thought for some time that AR plays for the Packers for the 2022 season. Mostly because he really has no control given he’s still under contract.  He’s supposed to “announce” his decision Tuesday.  

To me, he only has two options to “announce” because he can’t announce he wants to be traded. That would take pretty much any leverage GB would have.  And there’s no way that could be kept a secret until Tuesday if a trade were already in place.  

His two options are:

-Retire, and that’s not happening because he’s already said he feels great, is playing at a high level, and wants to play as long as he can so long as his ability is still there.

-Play the 2022 season in Green Bay.

So assuming he announces that he’s coming back to GB, the only real question is whether he’s coming back “for the 2022 season” or if he’s “signing an extension for xxx number of years”.

I'm OK with trading him with a sizeable return.  The idea of capitalizing on him at the end of his career to an accelerated rebuild is appealing.

Also OK with continuing to watch the best QB in the game.  I get a case a Busch latte is a BFD where @Iowacheese is, but if we didn't have AR, we'd all be talking about being one Aaron Rodgers away from winning it all.

My opinions vary. My thoughts today are to trade him for a high draft pick. It would save enough money to keep players like Campbell and then use the draft pick to move up and get one of the nice WR’s in the draft. Also it would also make Rodgers have to throw to the open receiver, not just Adams.

That's not a terrible idea if you don't need the QB's approval.

The market for #Packers WR Marquez Valdez-Scantling is expected to be in that $10M APY range per @TomPelissero.

Pretty hard to imagine him back in GB given that considering their cap plus an extremely speedy WR draft class.
