Bit of a surviorship bias here.  If a player doesn't win championships they aren't usually considered HOF players.

If Cousins wins multiple SB's, he's going to the HOF.  If he doesn't, he doesn't.  So yeah, most SB winning teams are led by HOF QB's, because SB wins usually are what put you in Canton in the first place.

Fair point, but Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, and Fran Tarkenton are all in. Phillip Rivers and Matt Ryan may get in, and Andrew Luck was good enough to be a HOFer. None of them ever won.

Maybe the best way to frame it, is you don't usually win a Super Bowl without a QB who is in the top 8-10 QBs playing in the NFL that year.

MVS ran free and very open multiple times last season and Rodgers just missed him. The route and separation MVS  got in those plays looked fine. Idk what it was with Rodgers but he just could t connect on some of those deep passes.

MVS would be even richer if those two were able to connect more last season.

Remember Rodgers wasn’t practicing since early November (before Chiefs game Covid test). Rodgers knows the playbook but no practice is why his timing was off with MVS etc.

I'm more concerned with MVS's injuries the last two seasons.  He's never had reliable hands, never been a great route runner, and was really about speed and then you prayed he'd actually hold onto the ball.  Those factors are why he's not worth $10 mil per year.  There are receivers out there better than him that are available for less.  Availability/reliability is huge, especially when you're the team's only speed guy.  I say pass, his arrow's pointing down.

In all fairness, his hands and route running has improved. Yet I agree that he has an injury issue and may have priced himself out of contention esp. with his age.

As far as the FO for the Packers, since they decided to go all in this year rather than trade AR, they need to really go all in.  There's time to get a deal with Adams done, but get it done.  They're getting hijacked a little betwee AR and Adams, but they decided to go this route, so they need to take it in the shorts.  Going all in without Adams isn't going all in.  And get Campbell and Douglas signed ASAP.  Not signing those guys is not going all in unless they have a plan to replace them.  Also consider using the #1 pick on a proven player who can help right away.  Now is the year to pull out all the stops.  If the FO doesn't do that, I think they should be fired - specifically MurphyBallz.

Yosh is 4.5 years younger than Billy...it makes more sense to sign him. Worst case he keeps RT warm till Elgton comes back...best case he plays so well they leave him there and move EJ back inside.

I hope it works out that way.  Nijman was a very good LT for us.  I guess it depends on how well he fits at the RT position, but he's more than earned his shot and can swing to LT in an emergency and do just fine.  He's a keeper, for sure.  And, you can keep EJ at his best position if he comes back this year.
