Ken Ingalls is more accurate than OTC...he does shit in real time...not sure what his day job is. Sounds like a #1 ranked x4 poster to me. Plus his graphics are supreme.

They also save 2.4 million by moving on from Crosby (4.7 cap hit vs. 2.3 dead cap). That's seems like an obvious move, especially since you can find a replacement at close to a minimum salary and they protected his potential replacement on the practice squad most of last season.

Rob D already reported they are not touching Crosby's contract and he's here in 2022. I am guessing they just don't want to mess with the K position in a 2 year window where they feel they are in a true SB run.

I guess I get that, but at the least I'd like to see some real competition for him in TC. Not holding my breath, but we will see.

Crosby's biggest value is his experience in kicking at Lambeau Field. At this point, that's about it. He's subpar on kickoffs and obviously struggled last year. A lot of guys can kick in domes and in good weather. So, they are really paying him top dollar to make kicks in a January playoff game in Green Bay?

If they do hold onto him, it really points out that they know the special teams coaching was a cluster last year. Why would you risk going into a season with a kicker being paid top dollar that might have become a head case otherwise? It would have been nice to actually do something about it before it cost you a season.

Corey Bojorquez, an unrestricted free agent, will not be brought back. The Packers simply don’t have the cap space for a veteran punter. Acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams after training camp, he played under the fourth-year minimum salary of $920,000. Heading into Year 5, Bojorquez will cost $1.035 million. A rookie, by comparison, will cost $705,000.

They could easily find 300K if they wanted to. Bojorquez had the best gross average by a punter in Packer history by almost 2 full yards. He lead the NFL in punting for the Bills in 2020.

He's a terrible holder and teams want their punters to be able to hold. It's why he's no longer a Bill or a Ram.
