Offense (25)

QB (2)
Love, Clifford
*The other dude isn't worth a roster spot, put him on the PS.

RB (4)
Jones, Dillon, Taylor
*Wilson is a nice story, maybe they don't risk losing him and give a spot instead of PS.

WR (6)
Watson, Doubs, Reed, Toure, Wicks, Heath

TE (4)
Musgrave, Kraft, Degura, Cut Pick Up
* I'm guessing they look for a special teams stud on the wire after cuts and dump Allen.

OL (9)
Bahk, Jenkins, Tom, Meyers, Runyan, Walker, Nijman, Rhyan, Jones
* I was really hoping to see Caleb Jones step up this year.

Defense (24)

D Line (5)
Clark, Wyatt, Slayton, Wooden, Brooks
* So much potential in this group.

OLB (5)
Gary, Smith, Van Ness, Enagbare, Cox

ILB (4)
Campbell, Walker, McDuffie, Carpenter

CB (5)
Jaier, Douglas, Nixon, Valentine, Thomas
* We need Stokes to return to form big time.

Safety (5)
Savage, Ford, Owens, Leavitt, Johnson
* ugly

3 Specialists and, yes, I'm 1 short.   Maybe the find another player in the secondary or they keep a 6th DL.

There are RBs all over the league, all of which are undervalued.  Barring injury, Wilson seems destined to the PS.

I think E. Wilson makes the 53 unless he's a disaster in ST's?

Why? He has home run speed. His speed is insane. When he outran that Cinci DB down the sideline for a TD. I was like WTF???!

If the Packers cut Wilson he will be on a 53 somewhere. Like KC. Just watch

Wilson wonโ€™t make the initial 53.

Wilsonโ€™s speed was known prior to the draft.

Fans of particular teams often overvalue said teamโ€™s UDFAs.

.

Patrick Taylor is a nice player. Good on ST's but if you cut him....are teams fighting each other to get him? He's a hard working guy but nothing ultra special about him.

As Goalline pointed out.....Wilson ran almost 23 MPH. That is ELITE speed, As in Michael Johnson, Usain Bolt fast. No coach on the planet can teach that.

Wilson was already cut by Denver in May.

However, he fits exactly what the Packers want to do. His problem will be how well he blocks and picks up blitzes and also if he does anything on ST's.

Packers have their work cut out for them to keep the best 53 players.

If they're going to keep 6 or 7 WRs, cuts have to come from somewhere. Do they keep only Jones and Dillon?? Have to think a guy like Wilson is going to make the PS at a minimum

Worth considering

@ByRyanWood: Matt LaFleur says keeping only three tight ends "is not something that's totally off the table," even with how much he likes to use the position. He's put offensive linemen in that in-line blocking role before, and LaFleur says the offense is deep at receiver.

@WesHod:  When asked about TE situation, Matt LaFleur mentions the #Packers could use offensive linemen as an extra blocker, too. They obviously haven't done that during the Marcedes Lewis Era but a possibility with Tyler Davis out for the year.

Marcedes was essentially an olineman anyway.
