Say what you want about Derek Carr, dude is a real leader.
It is also in his own best interest to a degree to not create more baggage that an interested future employer may shy away from.
I'm sure there's a Greg Jennings sister in the Raiders orbit, so eventually it'll come out.
Nathaniel Hackett to the Jets per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero
The stars are lining up...
Jets with a competent QB are ready to win now. Jets owner has publicly stated he's will to pay for a QB. Rodger's buddy runs the Jets' offense now. I mean come on. Only reason this does not happen is if Murphy and Gute decide not to pursue it. Which should result in their firing.
Jets have all their picks. Maybe a first and a third? I'd be fine with just a third to move on from Rodgers contract but I think the Jets would give up more because they're desperate. Maybe a second and a third? We'll throw in Robert Ferguson and Jarrett Bush. If a trade does happen, it better not include Zach Wilson. Dude can't play. Still can't believe he was draft that high.

So you’re fine with getting absolutely nothing? Don’t forget who’s gonna be making that third round pick and what his track record is in that round
I don’t know what you people (TM) have done to change the world today, but I corrected Chat GPT on which franchise has won the most NFL championships. It literally changed the answer based upon my correcting them with feedback.

The Jets 1st rounder this year is also 13th overall. Packers own the 15th overall pick.
Would be nice to have 2- 1s this year and they could get a WR and a TE or one of those two and a DB in R1

They scored 15 points total in their last 3-games. Seems to me their problem is bigger than a QB.
If he wants to be a Jet he can be a Jet…it’s up to him.
Hell yes, his jersey could even say Namath Jr.
Broadway Aaron !

Good point. Better make it a fourth .

My limited knowledge of musicals and Broadway is glaringly apparent.

Well, LA is off the table for Rodgers!

Gute had a deal worked out with Denver last year. It was squashed by Murphy because he's fucking spineless and has no clue how to build a champion. Murphy has no business meddling in football operations.
Hopefully the Pack gets something more than a 3rd round pick now that Murphy flushed last year's Kings ransom down the toilet.
I must have missed that report .... link?
Eyes only!
So a guy from Pittsburgh says on twitter that Denver is "about to offer the Packers...." and that means Gute had a deal in place that Murphy nixed?

I mentioned something similar in a different thread a few weeks back and was advised something about open records requests from city hall and how I needed to use deductive reasoning to come to the same nonsensical conclusion as others who are just believing made up bullshit.
Were there likely trade talks between both franchises last season? Most likely. Outside of that there's really only a few people in the world that know the extent of it... None of which are beat reporters getting paid for clicks and certainly nobody on a f'ing message board.

How dare you question the insider status of Arrigo's third cousin twice removed.
So was Moore forced out of Dallas or did he just have enough of Jones and McCarthy and wanted out? At any rate he has a new position less than 24 hours later.
Almost looks like they talked prior to the end of the season and had everything in place that as soon as he was free, LAC snapped him up. Shocking, I know, that they might have talked while under contract.
DeMeco Ryans HC at Houston
SF trying to swipe Vic Fangio from Dolphins to replace him.
And the Packers keep Joe Barry...
I hate to be overly negative but part of me feels like next season is already doomed with Barry leading the defense. No team is ever going to win a championship with Joe Barry as their DC.
That might be a new record for claiming the season already over.

Henry would be proud.
Before everyone fawns all over Payton and rips McCarthy, maybe they should look at this: https://t.co/8h7BZQ9Qcx pic.twitter.com/uJ5JsGmgwC
