Foot on neck.
we have an opportunity to turn Kap into a backup. Do it!
NFLN reporting "2 weeks":
#Packers WR Davante Adams, who has been declared out, reaggravated his high-ankle sprain, source said. He's expected to miss some time.
I would appreciate if we played with full vigor in this upcoming tilt.
These gentlemen, I am sure, fully appreciate the opportunity presented to them this week.
The short week and travel present some adversity.
I fully expect these men to overcome the challenge and purvey victorious.
Matriculate purveyance to victory.

Only 2 weeks isn't so bad. Could be up to 4-6
Cobb/Jones/Monty should be able to handle things
Early spread has niners as 9.5 point dogs at home.
Sounds about right.
I expect the Pack to cover.
And too, welcome back Guion!
3 games. He's back for this upcoming game...good timing to since it looks like Datone Jones suffered a concussion tonight

Sit him until after the bye. Next 3 are @SFO, then home vs STL and SDG.
I would love to see a 48-0 beatdown of the 49ers this week. But as long as they win it is all good because it would be another NFC win. I know it isn't October yet but any tiebreaker they could hold the better.
Jim Tomasula on this week's game plan:
"Hrmmmrmumph iadls hmpm 23asldjvzxxz^ lsgw;a;lkm3¿"
9ers game plan: run, squidward, run
I hope we can contribute to his INT total.
Nail in the coffin for them this week.
4-0.
a little revenge tour with the Hags, Chiefs and Niners.
lets clean up garbage time though this week
For this season, the 49ers "Super Bowls" are going to be playing against the Packers and Seahawks. If the Pack was healthy and had a full week of practice, I'd be really confident in this one. But they're basically 2 days short of rest, and they are really banged up.
San Fran is a joke, but they're a step up from the Bears who gave the Pack a tough game in week 1. I expect something similar to the Bears game, where the 49ers keep it interesting. I think they'll be able to keep it interesting longer than the Bears did though so there may be a little bit of nailbiting near the end.
SFO is giving up the 2nd most pts/gm
SFO is last in pts scored/gm
SFO opp QB rtg is 111.6, 3rd worst in the league
Kaepernick has a QB rtg of 71.1
I really hope Tomasula continues to try to force Kap into his offense. I'm afraid he will come to the realization that he's a read-option QB and implement that as a strategy to beat us. I'm still concerned with our ability to defend the r-o.
From this morning's TMQ:
The Football Gods Chortled No. 2. If every pass an N.F.L. quarterback attempts clangs to the ground incomplete, he gets a 39.6 passer rating. Colin Kaepernick’s rating at Arizona was 16.7.
According to the N.F.L., Kaepernick netted 53 yards passing — 67 yards gained minus 14 lost to sacks — while producing no touchdowns. But Kaepernick’s four interceptions were returned for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Shouldn’t we say the 49ers’ passing game netted minus-18 yards and minus-14 points?
This week strikes me as that classic 'let down' game. Kap, despite his recent struggles, still scares me as he has destroyed the Pack's defense in the past.
The latter part of your post is exactly why there won't be a let down.
Come on, there will be no let down. This team is on a mission from God.
@RobDemovsky: #Packers TE Andrew Quarless is having an MRI as we speak, per a source. The hope is that his knee injury is just a sprain.

let down game, blah, blah, blah. I thought KC was going to be the let down game. Blah, blah, blah.
Awkward! What a mess! Thanks
@RobDemovsky: DT Letroy Guion's three-game suspension is up. He's eligible to rejoin the #Packers today, but they need to make room for him on the roster.
Who is out ?
Lane Taylor
Dmitri Goodson
LaDarious Gunter
Goo9dson to IR, I predict
What's the first thing you do as coach of the SF 49ers? What's the first thing you do when you get into your office in the morning?
What yesterday or today?
I should not be in tears at the office.
Keep Gunter for sure IMO. He had a tremendous camp and you can't ever have enough quality DB's. Lane Taylor could stick simply because he is a big body OL and look at guys like Newhouse, Babre, etc. Still with jobs in the NFL.
MM really likes Goodson but they have to see something we haven't. He's also what? 27-28? IIRC he was an "old" rookie when drafted.
My best guess is if Quarless has anything that would keep him out >4 weeks he will go to IR. Prior to last night, he had no targets. No catches in the first 2 games. If IR'ed, that's your spot. Jake Ryan also had a hamstring injury. We'll see how serious that is..
Gaston to make room for Guion.
If Quarless goes to IR they'll bring up Perillo?
Tony Gonzalez
The more the merrier.
@JeffAshPG: Fox's No. 1 crew of Joe @Buck, @TroyAikman and @ErinAndrews will call #Packers #49ers game on Sunday, per @49ers media release.
@JeffAshPG: Many dislike Buck/Aikman/Andrews, but their presence likely means Fox will show #Packers #49ers to widest possible late-afternoon audience.
#Winning
@VegasJoe680: Jim Tomsula on #KNBR on what he is drawing on during the #49ers losing skid. "Jim Tomsula has to be Jim Tomsula everyday."
