Adam Schein is a HOF Rodgers knob polisher.
He got run out of town?
It's funny watching his press conference. While all the Jets fans in my area are falling over themselves about how happy he seems to be a Jet I'm watching him make mental notes about how dumb it was to have him drag a sled and schlep that medicine ball around in May. "I'm sure there's some science behind it" is not an acknowledgement that he thinks the drills had some merit.
I've been chastising my Jets fan friends asking why their team is treating a thoroughbred QB like a donkey and how he won't appreciate it and they won't know until it's too late. "Bro, don't worry about it. He WANTS to be here."
"If you say so..."
I'm playing the long game.
@NumberThree posted:I didn't care about the Jets last year and I won't care about them next year, but man it really is nice seeing an entire organization treat Rodgers the right way and be on board with going all in knowing what they have at QB now.
It's the difference between "We do what we do" and "It. Is. Time."
We do what we do gets nowhere and gives veteran players the inkling to check out and move on.
It. Is. Time. wins Super Bowls.
Let's see how this all works out before we start breaking out the lotion and giving hand jobs on the correct way deal with Rodgers.
Coddling the franchise QB wasn't particularly productive for the Packers.
Here's the thing.... let's say the Jets go 13-3 every year Rodgers plays there, but they never reach or win a SB. Did the Packers eff up by trading him, or do they say "see told you so?" What if at the end of the day Rodgers WAS the problem?
I guess that's what I'm thinking (almost said that's what all Rodgers detractors are saying, but don't want to talk for people). A whole lot also falls on how Love does, but if you don't think at the end of the day Rodgers can lead you to a SB anymore, then it's time to move on. Being relevant is cool I guess, but you need to close the deal.
And I'm a huge Rodgers fan. But I feel they did it "his way" the last couple of years and they shit the bed. End of story.

Welcome to the club, brother. Now you get it. Why was I so eager to get rid of a guy I view as the best thrower in NFL history? This!

Rodgers and Favre were basically traded for the same reasons. The organization knew they couldn't win a SB with them and they felt they had a viable option to replace them. Favre was coming off a very successful season so his trade made less sense than Rodgers so nobody should be bemoaning the Rodgers trade. The fact that dumped his massive salary opens the door to improve quickly.
Lotion!?
Probably been indirectly posted before, but there is the possibility too that Rodgers feels like he's been released from societal prison in GB. Even was from a self-professed tiny town in California.
Now he's in the epicenter of the world. Doesn't suite many personalities, but others thrive in it. Didn't a poster on here once say that X4 isn't for pussies, but if you can make it there you can make it anywhere?

Possibly. Does anyone have some time available to check the archives?
Pretty sure that was Henry. I recall he used that phrase fairly often.
The NSA probably has it.
X4 never forgets. It's somewhere. I'm guessing El Ka Bong has it.
IIRC, Goldie was the archivist for the 'pre-crowdstack' data.
Unfortunately, much of the information was lost during the great Zig Zag shortage of '04.
x4 also used to be not for pussies but...

We need to do an age roll call here. Pretty sure it would end with “Ok, Boomer.”
I’m 32…don’t trigger me.
I'm a teenager in Moms basement....
MOMM!!! MEATLOAF!!! WE WANT IT NOW!!!!!
FUCK!!!!
“What is she doing in there?”
Meat Loaf is gone.
Don't let your meat loaf.
At least you have a rich mom. My mom's so poor we don't even have a basement. I'm 12 and only have internet on the living room computer. When she's in the living room I'm talking with you all. When she's in the bathroom I'm looking at the JCPenny online catalogue because everything else gets blocked by the parental controls. Life's hard man.
We had so many kids we ran out of bedrooms and I got moved to the barn. No internet but there is the roll in the hay opportunity.

Kidding dude.

Pusillanimous is kid friendly!
I’ll at least be honest. I’m 112 years old and live in an antiseptic bubble.

There are 3 things that happen when you get old. The first is you lose your memory ......... and I forget what the other 2 were.
