So, In other words.....we most likely won't see Rodgers until Sept 2024 at the very earliest.

Honestly, if Zach Wilson turns into a good QB and gets the Jets into the playoffs. I can't imagine them benching him for a rusty probably not ready Aaron Rodgers

Please keep in my it is the Jets after all

@PackerBackerDPM is it likely this system?

Still, you have to anchor it to bone and 40-year-old bone is not the same as 22-year-old bone, and the same is true of ligaments. All I know after watching this is that it has to hurt like hell.

Bingo.

and yes @Brainded PRP only really augments if you will. Stem cells are were its ar.  We are catching up here in Amercia.  They’re grafts/sheets of stem cells that I use for wounds.  I’d imagine they wrapppws the tendon with one of these grafts on the way out for Aaron.  There are injectables that Manning had placed in his joint for the neck fusion.  In fact I know there are programs out there trying to grow blood vessels to see if can use them to make bypass surgery a thing of the past at least peripherally as well as trying to grow “parts”.

My son went through a free vascularized fibular graft of his rt hip. They had to cut through the muscle.

As part of his rehab he had PRP and it worked tremendously.

He was 11 at the time, so a considerably different situation to a 40yo.

Before the Dallas/NY Jets game.....found an article with some info in the Athletic.

The New York Jets coaching staff worked tirelessly this past week adjusting their offense to play into the strengths of quarterback Zach Wilson. Wilson, the former No. 2 draft pick who endured withering criticism for his play less than a year ago, is the Jets’ clear starter following Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending Achilles injury Monday night. The Jets play the Cowboys on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

The following intel was gathered in conversations throughout the week.

It was explained to me by a team source that “about half of the game plan” has been changed to fit the strengths of Wilson and that, “Everything stays a bit more simple overall.”

That team source says they went back and pulled all of Wilson’s “positive” plays to make sure he’s comfortable and confident.

Speaking of confidence, Rodgers was such an integral part of coaching Wilson that their time together over the last few months has changed the third-year QB. The difference in his play on and off the field was obvious to his teammates, and Jets tight end C.J. Uzomah has seen the difference up close. “I think his approach to the game is different now in terms of having sat behind 8 for a bit there, during OTAs, during camp, just learning from him,” Uzomah said. “His approach is a little bit different now, knowing that he’s the starter. He’s dialed in when he’s been back there, making the correct reads and adjustments of certain defensive looks and pressures we’ve been seeing, so he’s looked a lot more comfortable back there.”

I imagine they are working tirelessly.  Going to be hard to put a gameplan together when your QBs strengths seem to be cougar hunting and throwing incompletions.

Wilson is the worst QB I've seen in the NFL in a long time.  He does nothing well.  Even Jets fans know he's terrible and can' understand how he was on the team this year.  It's laughable that Rodgers is doing this new surgery to come back in January.  Like Wilson is going to get them to 10 wins.

If AR sees that, don’t be surprised when he rehabs his way back to start the last game of the season for his 6-10 team. He’ll complete a couple of passes and then take himself out of the game just to prove everybody wrong.

Rodgers listening to Dolphin sex recordings to aid his recovery?

I swear some of this must be just trolling people to see if they'll believe anything he says, but again, this wouldn't be that out of character for him.

The signal caller, who is known for his alternative methods when it comes to his health, said he is researching 'modalities,' including one that involves dolphins during his interview on the Pat McAfee show Friday.

'There's ideas that some of the noises from the dolphins when they're love-making, the frequency of that is actually healing to the body,' Rodgers said.

Does platelet plasma really repair tendon?   I’m no Dr, but I can understand how it would help with soft tissue where there is blood flow, but tendons?    I think you need those sweet 3rd word fetus stem cells for actual repair.

Tendons are considered soft tissue material. It makes sense.

Wilson fooled some people because he has an above average arm.  That said, his QB instincts and reactions are poor and having a below average O-Line in front of him is just too much for him to overcome down after down.

Xerxes was Persian.  Just sayin

Forget the PM. LOL
Xerxes I commonly known as Xerxes the Great, was a Persian ruler who served as the fourth King of Kings of the Achaemenid Empire, reigning from 486 BC until his assassination in 465 BC.

Yes! Explain slowly how he wasn’t fucking around with some crazy Greek dudes.

LOL

How successful was Xerxes I in the first part of his war with the Greeks? Modern scholars estimate that Xerxes I crossed the Hellespont with approximately 360,000 soldiers and a navy of 700 to 800 ships, reaching Greece in 480 BCE. He defeated the Spartans at Thermopylae, conquered Attica, and sacked Athens.
