Some guy the Falcons drafted in 2nd round named Brett Favor did ok with his 2nd chance.

Steve Young was the first overall pick in the USFL/CFL supplemental draft (would have been first overall coming out of college but didn’t want to play for the Bengals).  People forget he played for Tampa for two seasons and was awful. 11 TDS, 22 INTs, barely completed 50% of his passes. Only won 3 games in Tampa.

Went on to be a Super Bowl champ and HOFer. Pretty good 2nd chance.

It's easier when you're throwing the ball to Jerry Rice's sticky hands.

Sticky hands? He fumbled?

Must not have been using stickum that game. He admitted on air that he used to use some form of adhesive because "everyone else was doing it."

If you Google the following you'll find an article: Jerry Rice Stickum Gloves And The Ban Of The Adhesive By NFL

Rice started his career in 1985 and the substance was banned in 1981.

Stickum and gloves are two different things unless stickum started making gloves.  "Tackified" receivers gloves were available in the mid/late 80's.  I had them in HS.  Pro's have had them since at least then.  Probably became popular after stickum was banned.

Clifford Franklin knows about stickum' so if you wanna talk about stickum' you should speak with Clifford Franklin, 'cause nobody knows stickum' like Clifford Franklin.

Even though it looked like he was doing hanky panky with an elephant at least he wasn't fraternizing with the cheerleader.

He probably would be good at it, except he’d have to answer to a head coach…and he quit listening to head coaches several years ago.

Rodgers would probably be mediocre at it, just like most HOFers who go into pro coaching. Ditka (121-95), Raymond Berry (48-39), Forrest Gregg (75-85, 1 SB appearance), Art Shell (56-52), are examples. And then you have HOFers in other sports who also were mediocre coaches: Magic Johnson, Kevin McHale, Larry Bird, Patrick Roy, Wayne Gretzky, et al. The theory is that they are so gifted, and it's so innate, that they don't understand why other guys can't "just do it."

One exception might be Deon Sanders, but we'll have to see if he can carry it over to the NFL.

He had success at J State, so let's see what he does in a major college program. Sure, he got whupped, and he'll get whupped some more this year. He tore down everything at CU, so let's see where he goes from here.

In the end, I don't know if he'll actually ever go to the NFL because I think he likes being the brash idol to young guys and it plays well at that age.
