He's Mike Sherman with a bitching stache. Actually, Sherman was better in regular season and about the same in playoffs.
I agree! Talk about a guy who gets lots of props for showing up. 14 of his 20 years ended at .500 or worse. Fisher also has Gregg Williams as his DC. Judging by how Ram defenders were going after Giants players, it looks like he has repackaged the same formula that got him in trouble in NO and teaching it to the Ram defenders. No thanks!

Kind of funny that guys from Buddy Ryan's coaching tree (Fisher, Williams, Jim Schwartz) have douchebag cheap shot defenses but Buddy's two boys haven't fielded units like that.

Can anyone remember more inept GMs/front offices doing a more laughable job of initiating coaching searches before they actually got rid of their coach? There are some really ignorant folks holding powerful positions in the NFL.

It's not the wins over the Falcons I'll miss. It's not the reminder of his asinine statements after the Packers trucked them.
It's witnessing the worst strategic decisions, the inept clock management, the crazy calls, the masters in bad coaching that we saw week after week from Mike Smith - I'll miss that the most. This assessment of the Falcon/Lion game is perfect.

And he should. He got a lot out that group and Reggie will get him players.
It almost never works out when interim coaches get the job. The examples of it working out are few and far between. Interim coaches usually start winning more games than the guy who was fired because the players start to wonder if they'll be next if they don't start playing better. If I'm the Raiders, I'd give Harbaugh contract offer matching what Michigan is offering him right now.
