It's basically a 1 possession game. The Bucks are 1 for 10 from 3 and the Hawks are 8 for 16 from 3. I think that bodes well as both teams are likely to regress towards the mean for the rest of the game.

Those missed FTs are a killer. When Giannis misses both, it just zaps energy from the Bucks. It almost always seems like it starts are run for the other team. Now down 7 and the Hawks get away with another hack to get a turnover.

Great run to end that half. Give Bobby Portis a raise. He was outstanding.

The Hawks have to be a little disheartened to have shot 10 for 22 from 3, have the Bucks struggle from deep, and yet be tied.

The Bucks are much more mentally tough than previous years. Before this, falling behind by 15,  having Giannis pick up two BS fouls in the first 5 minutes, and having the other team be unconscious from 3 would have lead to a double-digit halftime deficit.

BK - I think this is likely a loss. I think the Bucks come back in Game 4 and win, but they are not getting any breaks in terms of officiating, Giannis already has two fouls, and the Bucks are down 14 in the first.

This is a different Bucks team. Giannis stayed composed and still dominated with two fouls. Now, if we can just get him to shoot FTs consistently.

🤣😆

The Hawks did everything they could to jump on the Bucks but it's still tied at the half.

Hahahahaha

Unless injuries happen, Bucks have zero excuses vs. this team.

I will say Giannis doesn't look right on the floor. Walking running kinda gingerly on that calf.

They weathered the initial storm and are tied at half.  Now come out and punch them in the mouth and take their heart as you own the paint and the glass.  Let the Hawks play their gimmicky BS.  Wear them down.

Could Reggie Miller possibly fellate Trae Young any more than he is? Miller is usually terrible but he’s lowering the bar even more in this series.

Trae Young is a shorter Reggie Miller. High-volume shooter. Weak defender. Of course he likes him.

The NBA need to knock that into next week. That should be an offensive foul.

If a defender jumps into a shooters natural landing zone on a jump shot it's a flagrant foul. If a shooter purposely jumps into the natural landing zone of a defender, they are rewarded with 2 for 3 FTs.

It’s ridiculous. Trae and Harden fake a shot, realize the defender jumped out of the way and choose to jump into the defender. That’s an offensive foul by every rule book except the stupidity in the heads of NBA refs.
