Pomeranz ainβt fat!
Pomeranz looked really good tonight.
Brewers fans will never forgive Machado
So who are we rooting for in the upcoming Cards \ Cubs series.
Cards winning helps with wild card so itβs more probable. Cubs winning helps with the division unless they win too much.
Me so confuse.
I figure one team loses a game to the Crew each game as long as we win.
Cheezers posted:Pomeranz dominates the last 2 innings. The only guy to give up a run will get the win.
Albers has to be the worst 8-5 pitcher in baseball. His ERA is 5.01, but that is an improvement over last seasons 7.34. He's lucky to have a job.

A meteor.
Brewers wrapping up their series with San Diego with an afternoon game, ongoing. Crew up 3-1 top 6. Peralta on the mound.
Now 5-1. Shaw gets a BB and Grisham doubled him in and then scored on a wild throw to 3rd.
The catcher for the Padres throw down to third was about as accurate as Cousins passing all day Sunday. ( 84 million waaaa!!!!! )
Wow. Kimbrel gets lit up again to blow a save. His ERA as a Cub is now 6.53.
You have to assume he's not healthy, but the Cubs have him for another 2 years of big-time guaranteed money.
So it turns out that the Cubs actually lost the Kimbrel sweepstakes.
They also lost on the Darvish sweepstakes
Kimbrel is a walking gas can right now
Maddon will take the fall but Saint Theo deserves plenty of criticism
Kimbrel first 2 pitches in the ninth are home runs. I was enjoying a beer in a bar in the Chicago suburbs, Priceless!
Cruising vs the Pirates again. About to go 3 up on the Cubs.
Beyond anything I could have hoped for.
Best September record in all of MLB.
Nice to see Jimmy close it out tonight.
BTW Grisham is good.
Love me some B.J.

It was great to see Burnes last night and then Nelson tonight get some low pressure work in to have something positive to build off of for next year.
Next year's lineup looks much more promising that i would have thought with the development of Hiura and Grisham to add to Yelich and Braun. Cain will hopefully stay a little more healthy and Thames and Gamel are solid depth guys.

CC is as good a manager in baseball when it gets to September and the roster expands. The games take longer, but it allows him to go into a mode were he treats every at bat as important and is constantly switching guys to maximize the odds during every inning.
No matter what comes out of all this it's really been an amazing run after the Yelich injury.
Agreed- it was pretty amazing before that too... climbing out of no manβs land and within striking distance of STL and even Washington is only topped by last yearβs run the NLCS.
Jay Jackson is perfect thru 6 innings.
Woodruff had 2ip, Jackson 1 and Gio 3. Only hit so far is a liner off of Arcias glove.
Arcia with a nonchalant error...costs 3 runs....
.217 hitters should never hot dog....just sayn'.
Cubs can't win the division. 7 games back with 6 to play.
Brewers 4 games up on the Cubs with 6 to play. Magic number, 3!!
You need to ratchet up your excitement.
Cards are at D-Backs and the Nats are home against Philly. Come on D-backs and Phillies!
Arizona has faded recently but still Iβm pulling for them and Chicago at this point. Itβs not likely they will overtake STL for the division but can always hope.
Why pull for Chicago against the Pirates?
I meant pulling for Chicago against the Cardinals. But given how poorly the Pirates have played donβt be surprised if the Cubs turn it on. Itβs not like they got blown out against STL. Not sure I can recall any team losing 4 consecutive games in such gut wrenching fashion but they should have at least split that last series.
It would probably take a miracle for the Brewers to win the division but that canβt happen if the Cubs donβt beat the Cards in their final series of the season.
The way this season has gone it would be a heck of a way to finish by somehow stealing the division from STL. Need for Arizona to step up and for the Cardinals to have an emotional letdown after the series with Chicago.
Of course, the Brewers need to keep on winning as well but honestly the pressure right now is on the Nats and Cards and Cubs. Should make for an entertaining final week.
Brewers win a couple more and it should be fine to cheer for the Cubs in the final series. But for now it's GO BUCS!
Brewers win , Cubs losing 7-1 at Pittsburg in the 7th. Magic number about to be 1.
18-4 September...wow, just wow.
Hader getting that guy with a slider is what he needs to do. That was beautiful.
Man, a few weeks back if you had told me the Scrubbies would be out of the playoff race and the Brewers magic number at 1 with 5 games left I would have checked you into a looney bin.
GRAND SLAM for BRAUN in the 1st. 4-0 Brewers with only 1 out. And now a back to back by Thames. 5-0 Good Guys.
Magic Number a lot closer to 0 than 1 after 1/2 an inning!
