Best September record in all of MLB.

Nice to see Jimmy close it out tonight.

BTW Grisham is good.

It was great to see Burnes last night and then Nelson tonight get some low pressure work in to have something positive to build off of for next year.

Next year's lineup looks much more promising that i would have thought with the development of Hiura and Grisham to add to Yelich and Braun. Cain will hopefully stay a little more healthy and Thames and Gamel are solid depth guys.

CC is as good  a manager in baseball when it gets to September and the roster expands. The games take longer, but it allows him to go into a mode were he treats every at bat as important and is constantly switching guys to maximize the odds during every inning.

I meant pulling for Chicago against the Cardinals.  But given how poorly the Pirates have played don’t be surprised if the Cubs turn it on.  It’s not like they got blown out against STL.  Not sure I can recall any team losing 4 consecutive games in such gut wrenching fashion but they should have at least split that last series.

It would probably take a miracle for the Brewers to win the division but that can’t happen if the Cubs don’t beat the Cards in their final series of the season.

The way this season has gone it would be a heck of a way to finish by somehow stealing the division from STL.   Need for Arizona to step up and for the Cardinals to have an emotional letdown after the series with Chicago.

Of course, the Brewers need to keep on winning as well but honestly the pressure right now is on the Nats and Cards and Cubs.  Should make for an entertaining final week.
