Hader with another save and the Brewers complete the sweep of the Marlins.
Hader struggled from about July 30th to August 17th giving up 7 runs in 6 innings. He took a week off and since then, he's gone 10 1/3 innings without giving up a run, striking out 20 and walking one while giving up 3 hits.

What tie breaker?? They would play a "tie break" game. Unless you're referring to HFA.

If there is a wild card playoff game due to a tie with the Scrubbs it would be at Miller Park. Not sure about any other teams. as for now.

The amazing thing is that if they did get to that point, they'd probably prefer to start a guy that has a career ERA of 5.15 in 240 games pitched that wasn't with the team until late July (Jordan Lyles).
They have gone on this 7 game winning streak with no starter going beyond 5 innings and in 5 of the 7, the starter went less than that.
CC has one guy he can completely trust right now on his staff, but he's somehow able to stay in this with Hader and a band-aid of a staff.
If the Brewers played the Cubs for 1 game, I'd absolutely start Gio or Davies. Cubs have been horrendous against Gio and not much better against Davies.
They make the playoffs and CC deserves manger of the year.

It’s been his mixing in of the slider that has everyone off balance again. For a while he was only throwing fastballs. Plus keeping the fastball up- belt high and no one can hit it.

I don't Twitter/Tweet/whatever it's called. And my earlier reply was not a shot at you, Hungry. I would think a "baseball expert" would know that there's not "tiebreaker" in baseball. Every season in mid/late September there seems to be situations of teams tying for something. And every season, the "match up" games are discussed to break the ties. I'd think a baseball expert would know this and not make a misleading Tweet.
I would guess by “tie-breaker” he was referring to hosting the tie-breaker game due to winning the season series. Or do they determine that by coin flip?
I would think if he meant HFA, he would have said they have HFA.

Brewers just took down a guy who had given up 3 earned runs his last 8 starts (Flaherty). Yasmani with the Badgers Mutual Insurance runs... get the win tomorrow and they gained another game.
Crew has a good chance to jump over the Nats this week in the Wild Card. While the Brewers are home to play San Diego the Nats are at St. Louis.
Braun just hit a GRAND SLAM homer with 2 outs and a 3-2 count in the 9th to give the Brewers a 7-4 lead!!!!!!

Wow what a game. Was in Milwaukee area for youngest daughters softball tourney and they just closed out their final game 8-0 then Packers win and then soon after Brewers come back to take the series. Damn trifecta of Sconnie joy right there and yes F the Vikes and F the Cardinals.
Holy crap. Will wonders never cease. Travis Shaw just hit a solo homer, Brewers lead 4-1 bottom of the 5th, no outs.

Pretty impressive what this team has done since the trade deadline. Pitching has leveled out. Bullpen has settled in. Bats are alive up and down the lineup.
Look at all the young players... Hiura, Grisham, Spangenberg, Austin, Jackson, Houser, Peralta finally found himself a role...
Playing some of their best ball of the season. 10 out of their last 11.

6 great innings from Woodruff, Gio and Suter. Fat Albers comes in and gives up the tying run to the first batter. Not a fan of Albers.
I think because he’s fat we think he doesn’t care as much.
But the Moose gets the run right back. Then Pomeranz strikes out the side in the 8th.
Cubs also losing to the Reds and Nats are leading the Cards.
