The problem in GB is that the defense rests - almost every game.

If it's McCarthy's call to unload Capers and if he won't do so, do the Packers still unload Capers (read: get rid of MM if that is what it takes)?

I don't see that happening but how can there not be some doubt and some discussion within the organization?

Capers has shown on the few occasions he's gotten crafty veterans he can do some things with them, schematically. Look at what he did with Woodson as Woodson's skills declined. He made Howard Green an important contributor on a Super Bowl team. He got solid mileage out of Brandon Chillar. 

Woodson had three great years after going back to Oakland. He was a legitimate pro bowler in his final season. 

Giving Dom props for working wonders with cast offs is like giving Skip Bayless props for talking up the winning ability of Tim Tebow.

I think it's admirable that he's trying to go back let people know what he meant, but he needs to stop talking. 

46 million people and the Packer secondary watched the NFCC game.  That has to be a little on Ha Ha and even more on Dom.  No matter what the scheme, it is difficult to make adjustments if the players aren't buying in and doing it.  Then, coaches and players can work together to make appropriate changes.

 The sad reality is that many players have no business being admitted to college but have to go because of the system we have put in place.  The "sliding scale" that combines HS GPA & SAT has opened the door to athletes being admitted who have SAT scores 400-500 points below the average student at some Universities. 

Players are admitted to college because they play a sport. What happens after they are admitted is up to the college.
