That was one giant bird.
It's why you don't draft for need. Who would've guessed we would have a need at WR this year?
JJ did more than "nothing" when he was in OAK. Had a pretty solid year with a green QB. I think his speed is gone though. Luckily he doesn't need much with AR throwing into his pockets.
Was JJ's speed ever a strong suit? Over the years he's worked hard to become a crafty and savvy receiver. He probably has learned to understand his shortcomings as a player and worked on accenting his strong points. That quality along with the chemistry within the system and with Rodgers is really quite invaluable.
He's been an absolute joy to watch thus far, and hopefully moreso once Adams gets healthy and the full complement of offensive weapons are at AR's disposal.
Yes, thanks for filling in between my lines.
He also torched Richard Sherman, causing me to stand up & flip off the 70" TV right in Richard Sherman's face. Think he saw it?
You mean the one where Sherman let up because the D jumped? I also enjoyed that immensely.

If he didn't, he surely heard me yelling "insults" at him!
James Jones on pace for 68 catches for 1,268 yards and 16 TDs. Not bad for a guy signed off the street days before the start of the season.
Right now he's the Packers deep threat too.
I think it is Montgomery.
No no. It's the white lightening from Madison!!
Raise your hand if you thought James Jones would be leading the NFL in receptions of 25+ yards. (Photo by @powrpics) pic.twitter.com/73lcD4EVhX

No deep threat.
Beautiful.
Guy just looks slow to me.
Every time I see JJones run I hear the xylophone "running sound effect" from the flintstones.
Didn't Jones run 21.something MPH (per next gen stats) on that 65 yard touchdown vs the Rams? I thought I saw that graphic on the TV, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
And he was in the left lane Sunday Morning, jerk.
Thanks guys. So he apparently has not lost a step.
He's probably lost a step, though he was never that fast to begin with. He doesn't have great acceleration might be a better term.
Just wait until his hamstring is 100 percent.
Yes. He ran that on a tweaked hammy.
Great story in JSO today on him. Wants to retire a Packer, hope Ted can figure out a fair deal for him especially if he continues to score TDs. It's embarrassing to pay him the vet minimum when he's lighting it up and we'd be in a world of hurt without him.
"Lighting it up" is awfully generous to a guy who's more like the Brad Baxter of wideouts. He's saying these things because he knows Green Bay is where his bread is buttered and, especially at this point, the relationship with Rodgers is stronger than his skillset.
It's a great story.
I'm to lazy to look it up but what are some other guys speeds per hour?
It shows you how valuable that "relationship with Rodgers" can be.
I don't think it's embarrassing in the least that he's being paid the vet minimum. It's the way free agency works sometimes. Nothing disrespectful or ugly about it... and no one had a gun to his head when he signed it.

At the 1963 California Relays,in the 100yd.dash finals,Bob Hayes won, tyeing his world record of 9.1 seconds.AT the 75 yd.mark he was clocked at 27.89 mph.The fastest human ever.
It all sounds cool until you google it.
Kick any average house cat in the ass and they'll light up 29 mph for ya.
Call me disappointed.
7-8 mph, easy, but she doesn't have the ankles to sustain that pace for long.
Yeah, but once she starts yacking on about her Cows you will break Bob Hayes record trying to get away from her.
I think those rumors are true. I'm kind of a Bo Jackson fan.
James having a great year. Imagine if #87 was running those routes??? 5 td's? 7? more???
... and no one had a gun to his head when he signed it.
We can't be certain.
I've heard rumors about a Headless Thompson Gunner from time to time

Roland?
Didn't say a word.
James Jones is sneaky slow. By that I mean he is so fast that he actually has to slow down so AR can get him the ball.
