While JJ had his share of dropsies, he did make some big catches (Atl, Atl, XLV). Seems his knowledge of the offense and chemistry with12 would be an asset this year sans Jordy, playing the slot or flanked out wide.

Is this security worth sacrificing a roster spot for Banjo, Goodson, etc? I would think so, but that is what TT and MM get paid to do. Does Wayne figure into the decision point too?

I'll take 2015 Jones over White and Janis. Having Jones around on a 1yr deal will not hurt Montgomery's develop one iota.

And he's already coming for a visit on Sunday

WR James Jones is one his way to Green Bay for a visit with the Packers on Sunday. His agent, Frank Bauer, said no deal is done but one could happen if the visit goes well.

Chubby chasers.

**** it, I'll eat crow now:  I did not think TT would bring JJ in.  I was rong.

As (apparently) the only fan of his in all of Packer Nation, I will be pissed and bummed if Myles White is the one released to bring in the old slow guy.

Pistol, I think 1 of the DB's might be the guy to take the fall

Probably go with six rather than cut White. I like White, but we've seen his ceiling and it's not particularly high.

Silverstein thinks a deal for Jones is very likely. Jones would be a safety valve that AR has a lot of confidence in. The cut can't impact the STs though, which might mean White.

Cobb, Adams, Monty, Jones, Janis

And he'll have to wear 82, 85 or 87 this time around

Pick 85! Jeff Query's old number

Looks like a good sign he will be cut by the Raiders

Oh yeah that's right.  The ceiling/floor thing. I've been old all about that already but thanks for the reminder. Got it.
