Arians can pound sand. Not sure why they would consider him in the first place. Mularkey territory.
Sounds like McDaniels is getting a second interview. Not sure what to think about this but oh well.
.@GregABedard - "As far as Josh [McDaniels] and Aaron [Rodgers] goes, it's a good fit. He's going to get the hell coached out of him and he needs the hell coached out of him. To me, they've been soft on Aaron this whole time and they've created this monster." #Packers

no clue on this guy. everyone has an opinion:
"âI still canât believe this is happening. Canât believe McDaniels will soon be hired by the Colts, and entrusted with Andrew Luck. Canât believe he was the hottest commodity on the coaching market this fall. McDaniels is Lane Kiffin to me, an arrogant young punk who ascended rapidly after Daddy got him a cherry first job in coaching â McDanielsâ father, Ohio high school legend Thom McDaniels, was friends with Nick Saban, who hired Josh as a grad assistant at Michigan State in 1999 â and who kept getting promoted to the point of failure.â -- Gregg Doyel
Arians is old. Lots of old in Zona and Floriduh. Old sells well in both.
McDaniels is an excellent choice & will handle Rodgers, coaching him back on track toward greatness.
"Aaron Rodgers, in this system, would throw for 7,000 yards" - Tom Brady
When Indy thought they were hiring McDaniels, they went ahead and hired the defensive coordinator Mcdaniels requested. That guy has done superb with less talent than the Packers have. That shows that McDaniels has a good idea on potential coordinator candidates. If he is the choice I will be on board.

I think that the Indy media and fans were very salty when McDaniels told them no at the last minute. So they call him a punk and arrogant. In a strange way I wouldn't mind a Packers coach with an edge to him that is a little arrogant.
I still think it is going to come down to Gase and McDaniels.
Bedard is still an ahole!

The 2 things I have reservations about are 1) that system isn't just McDaniels doing everything, BB always hires a great staff and each position group is well coached, I hope JM will pay that kind of attention to staff. It gives me hope that he hired guys like Wink Martindale, Adam Gase, Mike McCoy, etc. 2) being a creative, innovative play caller is great when all you are is the play caller, how is he going to handle all the in-game things that HC's have to deal with...certainly that is something MM struggled with (game management).

Heâs the best guy for the job IMO.

"Created this monster" was a little strong, but no doubt in my mind that the same dynamic we saw between Sherman and Favre was there between AR and MM at the end.

I concur.
According to Demovsky tweets, GB picks Matt LaFleur, Titans OC, as their next HC.

Heâs also agreed to change his first name to Mike. (J/k)
i like this hire. Far less baggage then McDaniels and we all know Billyâs coaching tree isnât very good.
Can confirm that the #Packers are working on hiring #Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur, who interviewed on Sunday and apparently did a great job. The #Packers were the only team to interview LaFleur.
