When there was talk about grabbing SJ and those rumors were spinning that we were about to sign him when TT in fact wasn't even nearly close to, that was my and some others concern with Jackson.

Injuries. Dude is very talented but has so much wear on him. Same with Reggie Bush. Another good player...IF healthy.

I'll still take Lacy.

Clay Matthews' annual hamstring injury came earlier this year than I was expecting. I wonder what it is about him that makes him so susceptible to that injury. Modern sports medicine has given us a blueprint on how to avoid those. It involves finding a balance between the strength and flexibility of the primary mover (the hamstring) and its antagonistic muscle (Quad). I'm sure the Packer training staff must know these techniques, but Matthews has the same injury every year.

You must not pay enough attention to the Packers' MO.  All the injuries seem to mild at first, and then we learn that the player is likely out for the season or some such.

True, what was I thinking?   Time for MM to get the players into yoga classes.  Maybe a hot female teacher would help motivate them.  Or, maybe MM in class too. I'm sure the players wouldn't miss that.

This is the problem I have in clinic all the time, runners come in with chronic tendonitis issues and you ask them to rest and the minute they feel "ok" right back they go and the cycle repeats itself.

Personally, looking big picture smart to sit Clay and STarks in the 2nd half with the bye, smart to not rush Lacey, Hayward or Burnett.   Big question is Finley he really got his bell rung.

Several season ending injuries across the league yesterday, not just Melton. Actually, Packers lucked out in that their injuries lately are not near as serious, i.e as in season ending.

Thought I read Starks was a knee "sprain", more info to come.

On Packers radio after the game Tauscher said the Pack does indeed include yoga in the training room, at least once a week.

once a week isn't a very practical application of yoga.  a minimum of 3 times a week and you might get true benefit, and daily would seem even more right.

They should be doing it in the huddle!
