Exactly!! Was watching Herman's video this morning. Said that his ratings of the o-lineman this year compared to last year through 7 games are significantly lower, by far the biggest drop of any position group. Look no further to determine why the offense is not as proficient as last season. Now if Bak comes back & Newman goes to the bench & Myers returns .... could they get to last years level (which still wasn't good enough vs. TB's front)?

It wasn't good enough because Bakh wasn't there.

HUGE loss.

The Jimmy G led 49ers, who were down to their 4th string RB, and were only 2-0 because they beat the (now) winless 0-7 Lions and woeful 2-5

The 49'ers also had their entire preferred starting O-Line AND D-Line vs. the Packers patched up/rookie OL and no "Z" on the DL. The Packers were underdogs in that game. 4th string RB vs Zadarius missing. Yeah..... pretty even.

See? I can cherry pick too. You play who is in front of you when you're scheduled to play them. There are exactly ZERO games where your favorite team is "supposed to win" -- It's the NFL

This is why it’s so important for players to get vaccinated.  There’s the potential for a lot of collateral damage.   Lazard is one of those guys now.

Hopefully they don’t take more hits but wouldn’t surprise me if they did.

By the way, they need to stop quoting Randall Cobb.  Using a Rodgers collarbone injury to rationalize how unpredictable things are is next level stupid.  Lazard apparently made a choice not to get the spike.  Rodgers didn’t choose to get hurt.

@RapSheet: #Packers WR Allen Lazard, who is unvaccinated, is a COVID-19 close contact, presumably of Davante Adams. Lazard is out 5 days and won’t play Thursday.

Zero patience or tolerance for that type of bullshit. Cut him or trade him. There's no room for error this season and the Packers can't afford that liability in the locker room.

He was next man up on what could have been one of his biggest opportunities of his career. Instead, his selfishness and stupidity cost him his spot and may further jeopardize the locker room.

If he was vaccinated, he could play. Instead, he gets to stay home and watch his career opportunity pass by.

So apparently Rodgers woke up with his back all locked up on Sunday. Thanks to trainer and chiro they got him ready to play. Rodgers blamed having to sleep in a hotel the night before games, even at home. Said this is a stupid rule. Couldn't agree more and didn't realize nfl teams are still trying to keep grown men from pulling a max Mcgee night.

I certainly hope that players out with COVID who are not vaccinated lose game checks.

That's the thing, Lazard doesn't have COVID. If the tweet is accurate he is a High Risk asymptomatic close contact who is now required to isolate for 5 days after exposure to the infected player (Adams).

If he was vaccinated, he would be playing on Thursday. Instead, he gets to sit home completely healthy and watch the game from his couch because he's stupid.

Dum, dum, dum. Maybe being faced with the ramifications of his stupid decision he will go out and get the vaccination. For a guy that's trying to prove to GB or another team that he is deserving of a nice long term contract this is a good way to derail those plans.

He's going to be getting a lot of side eye in a locker room that's 95% vaccinated.

Did Adams return a pos test? He and Lazard are listed in the Reserve/C-19 list. I've not seen a report that either is positive.

The Packers should waive Lazard tomorrow. They won't because he's too important to their running game and it would alienate half of Central Wisconsin (the portion of people who are anti-vax).

Just an aside, while there are problems with scientific peer review for publications, the FDA process for drug approvals is much more rigorously reviewed than a scientific publication. There are enormous numbers of safeguards built into the process, both for human subject safety and for inside trading in the stock market. By far the most common complaint from people pre-COVID was that the FDA was much too risk-averse.
