Zero patience or tolerance for that type of bullshit. Cut him or trade him. There's no room for error this season and the Packers can't afford that liability in the locker room.

He was next man up on what could have been one of his biggest opportunities of his career. Instead, his selfishness and stupidity cost him his spot and may further jeopardize the locker room.

If he was vaccinated, he could play. Instead, he gets to stay home and watch his career opportunity pass by.

You don't know shit about him or his situation.   You're the selfish prick in this scenario imposing your uninformed opinion on another human so your preferred football team has a better chance of winning.

Get a fucking grip dude.  It has zero importance in your life.

Dum, dum, dum. Maybe being faced with the ramifications of his stupid decision he will go out and get the vaccination. For a guy that's trying to prove to GB or another team that he is deserving of a nice long term contract this is a good way to derail those plans.

He's going to be getting a lot of side eye in a locker room that's 95% vaccinated.

...and this is the problem.  The puppet masters plan of divide and conquer is working.    The man did not do anything to his team.   Again, we know nothing about his personal choice .  Maybe he has a medical exemption, you don't know shit.   Because of the rules the NFL has imposed, you want to hate him.   Maybe you should hate the rule?

Did Adams return a pos test? He and Lazard are listed in the Reserve/C-19 list. I've not seen a report that either is positive.

Yes, per the time frames that were given Adams was a vaccinated positive, which requires 2 negative tests 24 hours apart to return to the facility and play. This is why Adams could potentially play Thursday.

For Lazard, the policy is that if an unvaccinated player who tests negative for COVID (Lazard) was still a close contact with a positive individual (Adams), then they must isolate for 5 days and be tested daily because of the potential 5-day incubation period.

All this gibberish means is that Adams is vaccinated, tested positive, and needs two back-to-back negative tests 24 hours apart to play on Thursday. Lazard, who is a dumb fucking idiot, tested negative but was in make out range with Adams and has to sit home healthy and watch the game from his couch because of the 5 days isolation requirement.

Any other vaccinate player who was a close contact with Adams can go about their normal business so long as their tests remain negative.

Long story short, had Lazard been vaccinated he would have played on Thursday.

The only medical exemption from the vaccination is an allergic reaction. I suppose there is a tiny possibility that is the case.

The NFL rule is fine. It punishes unvaccinated idiots who probably searched the internet and came across the medically sound tweets Karen made while she was "researching" epidemiology and infectious disease while having taco bell diarrhea at 2 a.m.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I don't hate Lazard but I do hate his decision. It was dumb. I'm sure he's "researching" the vaccine like millions of other people that suddenly became infectious disease experts in 2021.

In LA Unified School District, 99.4% of the teachers who were required to be vaccinated to keep their jobs got the jab.

I, being vaccinated and wearing a mask, if exposed to a student with COVID (five times so far) have only to get a test to continue working, and will not have to stay home if exposed in such a fashion and not symptomatic. I prefer that.

The NFL policy seems fair to me.

IIRC the NFL and NFLPA have agreed that a player cannot be waived or cut solely due to not being vaccinated.

Look, I’m as irritated as anybody else that Lazard is going to miss this game but at the end of the day he and the Packers know what the rules are. None of us know why he’s not vaxxed, you can be pissed off about it if you want but it is what it it is.

Knowing why he’s not vaxxed and knowing that he’s not vaxxed represent two separate issues. You can’t let the former fuck up the latter.
GB did. That’s a problem.

I hope the communist city of LA goes bankrupt and you never collect a pension because I have a different opinion than you.

Not really, but if I was a dick and so resolute in my opinion on something that I was to wish harm on someone else for having a different opinion, AKA a fucking extremist, that's what I would wish.

Get a grip and stop rooting for bad things to happen to people who don't hold the same views as you.

Here's the thing. An unvaccinated colleague got exposed and now has to teach from home for two weeks. That sucks. But, the choice was made.

I think all doctors, nurses, teachers, cops, firefighters, EMTs, due to the nature of their job, should be vaccinated as part of the job. I have to go through a TB test every few years to keep my job. That's to keep kids safe. Fair enough.

I'm not rooting for bad things to happen to anyone, just that if you're a well-paid NFL player like Kirk Cousins and you choose to risk your team's success on your "research," you should pay the price.

It's fine because it fits you.  You have no idea why it didn't fit Lazzard so stop being a selfish prick.   Worst of all, your selfishness is over a fucking football game which you have no real connection to.

Seriously, it's a fucking football game.   This man has made a personal choice, we don't know why, that he deemed was in the best interest of him and his family.  He hasn't hurt anyone, your feelings of despair over a football game don't count, so fuck off.

Sounds like you are mad at the rules imposed on you..   That's a different topic.

That's like saying Covid has increased suicide rates for young men.  No it hasn't, the response by our leaders to Covid has increased suicide rates for young men.

"I'm not rooting for bad things to happen to anyone,"

Ahhh yeah, you just said you hope he doesn't get paid.   Well, I hope LA goes bankrupt and you don't collect a pension because we disagree.

I've had some of my best ideas when dealing with taco bell diarrhea.  Then I sobered up.

Now White Castle diarrhea, I've had visions.

Yes, BUT I would maintain this will hurt him for next year's contract in the same way his injury last year after his fast start cut the value of the contract he did get for this year. Had he stayed healthy and put up big numbers, the Pack or another team would have made him much richer. This coming after his best game statistically this year could have a similar impact.

I look at it like this just like I have since all this shit began.

It's a virus.  Not a choice.  Not political statement.  Not a way of life.  Not a conspiracy.

A virus.  A highly contagious and deadly one at that.

You're an asshole if you put me or mine in jeopardy of death when you have the answer right fucking in front of you.

That's just you being a fucking putz.  You're not making a statement.  You're not defending any high ideals.  You're just a fucking prick who is so self involved in your own delusions that you fabricate shit about scientific practices that have brought us into the modern age.

You're just a dick because in all your "studying" you fail to acknowledge that mRNA has been an integral part of cellular life for billions of years and the vaccine does not make mRNA function, then die as it's supposed to do, any differently.

You stay home when your sick so you don't spread a cold or flu.  You do things like cover your cough like your mommy and daddy taught you to do but you have a problem with a piece of fucking fabric.

HEY DUMDUM, IT'S A FUCKING VIRUS.

I don't know what Lazard's deal is but it doesn't change the fact it's a fucking virus.

Congress and their staff are exempted from vaccines, USPS exempted, border wide open for Covid positive people to enter the US. Not once has CDC or big Gov recommended obese people to lose weight, exercise, eat non-processed GMO crap - just get vaxxed and enrich big pharma. It's not about health obviously. Would you elect to get chemo if you had cancer with a 99.7% survival rate?

CDC website about Obesity and COVID

13 seconds.

Last sentence, big fat red herring.  It's like an apple to purple corn fueled disco rocket comparison.

Lazard is out because he's not vaccinated.  Fact.

It is about health. For one thing, obese people are no threat to kill anyone else with their actions. Second, the CDC actually does recommend people maintain a healthy weight and exercise.

https://www.cdc.gov/healthywei...ng_weight/index.html

https://www.cdc.gov/physicalactivity/index.html

Not getting vaccinated is more like drunk driving. Chances are nothing bad is going to happen to you, but it does raise the odds substantially. If you were only putting yourself at risk, then have it. However, it raises the chances you will kill someone else with your actions. That's why we criminalized it. There's an argument you can make that you shouldn't make anyone wear a seatbelt or wear a motorcycle helmet, but that's another discussion because you are not putting anyone else at risk. You should pay higher insurance, but that would be your choice.

The chemo example is just idiotic and insulting to cancer patients.
