Meet your strawman!

This is good time fun.
I'll soften it up right here.
Here's the deal: What we saw yesterday was a great offense, a well-oiled machine. Like any offense that's clicking like that, it's not about having any one great player (besides the QB), it's about having a bunch of good ones: the old "sum of its moving parts."
Kumerow, Allison, Lazard, MVS, they may not be Pro Bowlers right now--they may never be--but the point is, they don't have to be. They just have to be good, competent NFL receivers , which they are. They don't "suck." Put them with the rest of the offense, and it's a great offense, which is exactly what we saw.
They deserve credit for that. Get off your high horse and give it to them. The team is going places. Let's enjoy the ride hey.
I used to have a lot more fun on a hay ride.
You can take the boy out of Green Bay, but Chri-hey, I forget the rest.

Let me put it this way. On a bell curve, we have DA and MVS on the "good" side of the curve. Like all normal distributions though, half of the NFL wide receivers fall on the other side of the curve. That is where WWJ, GMo, Lazard and Sheppard lie. If I were to rank them from closest to the the mean to farthest, I'd go *Lazard, GMo, WWJ............Sheppard. I might be falling for the immediacy bias with Lazard.
Now, every team has WR who are below average. I'd prefer that be our #4 & 5 receiver, but understand for a lot of team, #3 is also a pretty average guy. No hate on GMo or WWJ, they are just easily replaceable cogs.
*In the case that I am wrong, I anticipate and accept the goofy ass pistol ungluing.
During the preseason, you cheer for a guy like Lazard or Shepard to step up and make the roster...become the next Donald Driver. But when reality hits, doesn't take much to see that our WR "curve" is worse than the NFL mean.
The Packers are committed to: 1.Running the ball and; 2.Throwing it to RBs, TEs and even FBs.
Targets for WRs are gonna be way down compared to previous years, Adams deserves most of them, and they can function with 83, 81, 13 for WR targets left.
Once again need your vote for Aaron to make Fed-Ex Player of the Week.
Rodgers already won Player of the Week
He already won Player of the Week

Hope he doesnt get it......imagine the chip. He may never have another incompletion.

But that is not the Fed Ex one, that is given by the NFL or somebody. Fed Ex is by national vote.
I know there was mixed opinions on the board about Bob McGinn, but his articles from other teams' scouts on ranking our players were always good.
Here was his grading scheme, which is a good one to use to think about personnel. He also used + and - within the category to give some additional range.
BLUE: Pro Bowl player.
RED: Above-average starter with a chance to be exceptional.
PURPLE: Starter you can win with.
GREEN: Lower-tier starter, or a backup with a chance to improve.
YELLOW: Below-average backup; needs to be replaced.
WHITE: Incomplete; insufficient information to grade.
BROWN: Reject.
In terms of our WRs, I think Adams is a Blue -. MVS is a Purple. Lazard is a Green. Kumerow is a Green -. Shepard is a Yellow.
TEs - Graham at this stage is a Purple -, but is being paid like a red or blue.
The blues on the entire team right now are Rodgers, Bakhtiari, and Adams. I think Scott is a probably a blue as well.
The team is a lot better this year because there are a lot more red type players. Alexander, Savage, Z. Smith, P. Smith, K. Clark, Jenkins, a healthy Bulaga, and maybe Amos.
I think you mean those 4 are blues, not purples?
I'm color blind.
That would explain your fashion sense.
