well that sucks. that makes 12 Packers on the reserve/COVID-19 list in past week

MVS, Kevin King, Shemar Jean-Charles, La'Darius Hamilton, Chauncey Rivers, Amari Rodgers, Ben Braden, Ty Summers, Tipa Galeai, R.J. McIntosh,    Marcedes Lewis, Oren Burks.

Not saying/just saying but if the Packers get a bye they might want to have an immediate team get together after the Lions game and play some game that involves sneezing on each other.

I was diagnosed with it Sunday. I had symptons Christmas Eve and went to Dr on Sunday. today is Tuesday and I feel like i am over it. Very little congestion. It was like a bad cold for me. Hopefully it is over. My wife tested negative so I put her in a local hotel and told her not to come home until Friday. Our daughter and grandson live with us and they also have it and did not want her getting it. Still it is scary words when you hear the Dr say "you tested positive."

Or CDC is adjusting to the virus as it mutates? Crazy thought, I know.

Omicron is the dominant variant now. Who knows what happens with the next one.

So CDC is following the science when setting their guidelines, as any logical person would assume they would, but H5 thinks the NFL should ignore their guidance and stay with the 10 day no contact because............. great base line?

Good for you and yours, one question did you get jabbed and boosted?  If so perhaps that helped in the severity and length of your bout.

@TomPelissero:  The NFL and NFLPA have agreed to modify COVID protocols in accordance with new CDC guidelines, cutting the standard isolation period after a positive test for asymptomatic individuals from 10 days to 5 days – regardless of vaccination status.

Could Lewis test negative on Sunday morning and be able to suit up then?

Glad you and everyone are doing well.  It would indeed be scary to hear the C word.

You did give me an great idea, however, on how to get rid of the wife for a weekend.

yes, I got double vaxed and then the booster right before i went to Green Bay. I am sure that is one of the reasons my symptons were mild. My daughter and grandson were also double vaxed but it has been over six months since getting their 2nd shot and they had it worse than I did.

More and more evidence that the virus is spread primarily by symptomatic people.
