On this day in Packer history. On a cold AF night at Lambeau. Nick Collins cradled a Jay Cutler “I don’t give a fuqq we’re already the 2 seed and I’m freezing and I just want out of this God forsaken hell hole of a city” trial balloon giving GB the final playoff spot in 2011.
As we filed out of Lambeau Packer fans for the most part were whatever about the playoffs. It just meant another draft pick in the low 20’s. Bear fans said enjoy your beat down in Philly next week while we enjoy the bye week.
Three weeks later Chicago’s season ended on their field. Two weeks later it was title 13.
Beat the ever loving shit out of Minny tonight & end their season. Fuck the Vikings.

I grew up in SE Wisconsin around some Bears fans, went to a college dominated by Bears fans (when the Bears won it all in 1985), and went to graduate school in Chicago ... but having relatives in NW Wisconsin and having spent time in the Twin Cities I absolutely despise the Queens and their fans so much more than the Bears and their fans.

Ah yes the hatred of the Spermheads today warms my heart. The hatred I have had of that team all my life can only be described as complete hate in every way.
I grew up close to GB and I had a ton of relatives who lived in the Twin Cities and every year at the holidays I got to hear how great the spermheads were and how horrid the Packers were. They were right about both of those things but my hatred began to grow and grow to what it is today.
One fun thing I did every time that MN lost the Super Bowl I got a t shirt or sweatshirt from the team that beat them. I wore it for every family gathering just to be a shit. And for the record my Dad took me to the store to buy the jersey and told me "I will gladly buy that for you to give those arseholes the middle finger"
So phuck those purple wearing, heidi pony tails, horn wearing, and SKOL chanting ass hats. Phuck them now and phuck then forever.

Well, there's another key player unlikely to miss a playoff game due to Covid.
So, pretty much everyone expects the Vikings to run the ball. And they will run it a lot. But the reason these last few games were so close is because an inferior QB also got big chunk plays by passing the ball. Their WR’s (and Cook) can also catch the ball. I would not be surprised to see that as a Zimmer scheme this game.
