Maybe so, but the buffoonery of his agent was unmistakable.
Exactly. Another thing, if you're "misunderstood", shut up.

Interesting that Rodgers and MM back him. If this is true, the media and us (me anyway) have taken everything the wrong way.
All of this is complete B.S. Sure he loves to play in Green Bay, who wouldn't for 15 Million dollars for 2 years of dropping passes. McCarthy is still infatuated with his potential. Time to get rid of the idiot and give the other tight ends more time in practice with the first team.
His best play was diving for the tipped ball.
Time for him to move on.
Time for him to move on.
Finley wasn't even close to being the worst player out there tonight.
Antonio says to call him effing Finley.
He's obviously a favorite whipping boy and often justifiably so, but I thought he gave a good effort last night.
quote:"Finley needs 4 catches to break Paul Coffman's franchise record for most receptions in a season by a TE. Coffman caught 56 passes in 1979."
Of late he's been coming on. Not as dominant as he was in 2009 but for lack of a better term he actually seems to be trying. Have to wonder if this is all show if indeed GB plans to dump him in 2013.
I would think if anything, the extra effort is so GB doesn't dump him. Don't know that he'd get the money in a new contract that he has coming from the Packers next year.
Finley has caught 55 passes in two other seasons 2009 and 2011. Both were just one short of Coffman's 56 in a season. No other Packer TE has come close to the numbers put up by Finley or Coffman. And I don't think that another Packer TE in the history fo the franchise has over 50 catches in a season. Finley will have done it in three different seasons, Coffman in only one. Finley hasn't dropped a catchable ball since mid season - or so.
He got hit in the face with one yesterday.
Mark Chmura, Jackie Harris, Stumblin' Bubba.
Donald Lee came close at 48.

Yup.
The Mom of one of the snow shovelers at Lambeau told a friend this guy is growing up to be a possible impact player. FWIW.

One thing for sure, he is in Tightwad Ted's price range.

88. Got a feeling he shows up big in this game tonight. Just thought I'd share.
I agree two TDs

FTFY.
YOTO!
You can take "Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me" and throw that out the window. I've been burned by this guy a lot the last two years. But, he really has been a solid contributor these last six games or so...I have a funny feeling he puts it all together tonight.

Easy - fantasy football season is over.

That's very natural and happens to all boys.
Yeah but he was at Mass.
Probably get a candy bar out of it then.

Hopefully Fond! In any case, he has shut my mouth about him for the last several games and that works for me!!!!
Read the last ten pages of this thread. I haven't been his biggest cheerleader lately, to put it mildly.
Well, at least we're gonna win the damn game.
Dropped a TD in the end zone thought he was past that
To be fair...that was a pretty tough catch with someone draped over his legs.
