The mental part is why I thought Conner Shaw would be a better NFL QB. Ok - he doesn't have the best size or arm strength. Arm strength can be improved. In college he knew that offense better than his head coach - Steve Spurrier. SS often pulled QBs in his time as a college HC. But in 4 years he never pulled Shaw. Ironically, Conner Shaw may start this coming weekend. I hope he does well - if for no other reason to put Manziel and his money sign his place.

To be fair he did win the Hiesman and was a very good college QB. His body, skill set and lack of discipline most likely will not transfer to the pros. In truth he is much more than a sandlot QB. Joel Stave is better than a sandlot QB.
