Breaking Amish?
Is Favre being welcomed back into the family after being "shunned"? I wonder how this will fly overall. Has enough time passed and is Favre ready to eat some humble pie? I guess time will tell.

Fair to say the Packers' organization did a lot for him too.

I was as pissed at Favre as anybody and gleefully rooted against him in Minnesota, but frankly I think the pendulum has swung too far the other direction at this point. You can be critical but you can't ignore everything he did for this organization. He was one of three people that absolutely pulled this team out of the dregs (Wolf, Holmgren, Favre...could include White too, but without Favre there is no White). Actually I think it's silly that Favre is not in the banner at the top of this page. If you want to believe all these guys are choir-boys that play for the love of the game/Packers go for it, but it's simply not true.
Think of it this way...is there any way you could tell the complete history of the Green Bay Packers without including a fairly lengthy section on Favre? It doesn't begin or end with him, but it's in there. The Packers will take the high road (again) and invite him back in the very near future, I'm sure of it.

Murphy can bring him on a tailgate tour to Minnesota and stay there.

It's all a moot point IMHO, as Bert is not coming back for anything Packer related until after TT's gone. As I see it thats still a few years or more away. So regardless of my personal opinion towards Bert, which is softening a bit, it's nothing to think will happen any time soon.

Left amidst a bunch of drama and wanted to play forour leastmy favorite team. The Pack won a title and he threw another playoff pass that doomedour leastmy favorite team after he left.
