SF is not some great juggernaut.

No they are not
The only juggernaut in that discussion is the Butthurt that loss put on the ample-assed packer fans
I get that most of their fanbase is a bunch of bandwagon jumpers & loudmouths when they're winning. Such as life in Cali.
I guess they are different then the San Fran Giants fans then...
I predict that if the Packers win, those that predicted a win will rub it in the face of those who predicted a loss. I also predict that if the Packers lose, there will be a loud chorus questioning TT and MM.
While I wouldn't be completely shocked to see the 49ers win, I ultimately think the Packers give San Fran a huge surprise.
Salting violently would be a huge surprise.
Packers will be better up the middle at stopping the run, lack of playmaking WRs for SF means a good day for the GB defense. Kap looks very pedestrian and GB wins on the road, 27-20
Colin KaeperVick.

Whiner fan base has been taken over by Raider Nation...although Raider fans are loyal win or lose. When the Whiners were losing, their fans were absent.
AT&T Park is about as nice a family atmosphere as you can get in sport...Whiner games are the opposite.
Here is the latest Dope Sheet from packers.com

After you wade through all the eye-popping offensive stats, take a peek at pages 10 and 11 for some interesting tidbits on the Packers defense
Absolutely true! ...and I do not even like volleyball.
Aldon Smith named in lawsuit - shooting in his home.
I don't recall this from last year? How fast does Rog get all over this?
After thinking this over I'm going 26-20 Packers. Crosby has a great day with 4 FG, 2 being over 45 yards. Rodgers throws only 1 TD pass, but the D has a fumble or INT return for a TD. Packers also force a TO on the Whiners last drive to preserve the victory. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
That story courtesy of Leinenkugels? (sp?)
Last year, I did not give the Packers a chance in hell to go in to Texas and get a win. They did that and dominated. I can only hope...
34-28, 49ers
Packers 20
49ers 17
Packers win on a late long FG by Crosby that hits the upright but manages to bounce through.
Packers win the turnover battle 2-1 with that proving the difference in the game. Neither offense produces much but Rodgers makes the difference with 2 TD passes.
Casey Hayward has been ruled OUT for the Niners game
Colin KaeperVick.
It will be Micah Hayward Hyde in the role now.
It runs on water man!!
Easy pickins on this one,
GB 23
SF 20

He should have tackled more in camp. Tackling prevents injuries. It's science.
Rodgers = Doc Holliday
I think there's going to be reckoning all over and that the Packers will lie exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.
Paul Imig on the Packer/Niner game (.mp3)
Not sure I completely agree with him on the importance of the game, but some pretty good insights nonetheless.
Rodgers = Doc Holliday
Without the TB!

Ask any #Packers player about loss to 49ers in playoff game last January, and likely response will be: "Team 93."
What is this "Team 93" being spoken of?!?!?
Love it!

“You’re hearing a lot of tough talk right now,” Harbaugh said Wednesday. “You’re hearing some intimidating type of talk — kind of things we were hearing a couple years ago.”
Harbaugh is referring, presumably, to the cartoonish remarks from former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams regarding a desire to inflict injury on members of the 49ers offensive during a January 2012 playoff game.
this comment is accurate:

Matthews is talking about how the rules change when the QB leaves the pocket. That’s not the same as putting a bounty on someone. Shame on Harbaugh for trying to spin it that way.

Yep good stuff. Those that live in the past are doomed to repeat it

Close enough.
